The Peedle Invasion!
One average day, it began to rain - but there was something very odd about this rain.. of course, people quickly realized it wasn't rain at all, but little creatures dropping from the sky, as if out of nowhere! At first many were shocked, then scared, but they soon realized that they little creatures were completely harmless and make perfect pets for people and different species alike.
What is a Peedle?
Peedles are caterpillar like creatures that, when curled up, are about the size of a baseball - some more or less. They have a silky smooth skin and have a slightly squishable body density for ultra cuteness.
How Do They Act?
Peedles have a very mellow personality. They're not very active, and in fact, if you set one down somewhere, it's not likely to go very far over the span of many hours. At night, they flop onto their side and go to sleep, or slightly more timid Peedles might prefer to curl into a ball, while outgoing Peedles could roll onto their back.
A Peedle always has the same expression, little squinted eyes that never seem to open. But their body language makes up for the lack of any true expressions. If a Peedle is scared, it'll curl up into a little ball like a roly poly, and won't come out until it feels safe. If it's content or happy, it'll vibrate slightly, and if it's excited or wants something, it'll rear up on it's hind legs like it's a mighty horse or dinosaur. But usually it just stands around and doesn't do much at all. It's a tough life.
Peedle Care
Peedles are very easy to please. They aren't high maintenance, they don't make messes, they don't make noises, they don't need groomed, they're indestructible (so you don't have to worry about accidentally sitting on them u__u) so, really, you could have as many as you want and the workload would stay the same. They don't mind being indoors, but they do like some fresh air every now and then, especially early in the morning when the grass is still fresh with dew! And though it's not necessary, they do like to float around in a little bath every now and then (don't worry, they won't drown, they are ultimate swimmers, or floaters).
Just remember, if you treat a Peedle wrong, it will leave in the middle of the night! If you treat it right, it will want to stay by your side and be your best little squishy friend.
Peedle Breeding
What? Now that you mention it, nobody has ever seen a Peedle breed. They really don't have genders. They probably don't breed at all, they just rain from the sky in bunches every now and then. Odd little things.
Aging and Growth
A Peedle is basically the same Peedle all it's life. It doesn't seem to age or die.
How do I Adopt One?
Every Peedle has a certain something that makes it super happy - maybe it's a favorite song, smell, activity - as the Peedle Master, I already know what every Peedle likes. If you can guess what a Peedle's favorite thing is, based on the category (if I say it's a type of activity, you can guess.. painting, or sleeping), and you guess right, then the Peedle is yours! <:

The Rules
Now for the part that nobody likes. So I'm going to keep this very simple, hopefully it'll only need a couple of paragraphs.
Regarding the Species
Obviously follow the Chickensmoothie rules. Also, Peedles cannot breed or have romantic relationships so please, no roleplays along these lines. They eat only fruits, vegetables, berries and seeds, but they can also have sugary treats in small portions. Remember that Peedles are almost all the same size with only slight variances.
As long as it's allowed with the species owner, other species such as JBDs can own them as pets. Peedles can have some accessories but they probably won't like having a lot of stuff weighing down their squishy little bodies :<.
There is no adoption limit, you can apply for as many as you like, but do note that I am fair and if you've won a Peedle recently, it will lower your chances of getting another quickly to keep things fair.
Regarding the Forum
Please take note that I am perfectly capable of resolving issues on my own accord, even if it's not done immediately, and while the thought that you care enough to want to help me enforce rules is a nice thought, I'd really rather handle things on my own - please no mini modding.
And I am currently not accepting staff, guests artists or archivists - please do not ask for either of these positions. Again, thank you for the thought but it isn't necessary at this time <:.
Copyright Infringement Rules
This species is mine and therefore is copyright to myself (Chomp). Please don't recreate them, with slight modifications or otherwise. Remember to be original; Chickensmoothie enforces their rules regarding theft. You cannot use them outside without my permission.
