Personality: You know that guy you’ve grown up with, the one who was your best friend throughout elementary, until cooties became a thing? The one who you treat like an older brother, and who loves to tease you affectionately? Yeah? Well that’s Kana. His parents made the unfortunate mistake of giving him a girl’s name, and he’s deal with teasing because of it. It never seems to get to him, though, because the girls tend to think it’s cute. Heck, they think he’s cute. He’s definitely a pretty boy who likes to make girls smile, and has a terrible tendency to flirt with any girl he meets. He’s got a very laid-back nature, and gets scolded by teachers a lot for it. He’s not exceptionally intelligent or athletic, nor is he particularly gifted in anything of consequence, but he excels at making friends and making others smile. He has a knack for knowing exactly what sort of humor best amuses others on an individual level, and has made it his goal in life to never let someone leave without a smile on their face. He does, however, struggle with feeling like his kindness and interest in the happiness of others is never returned. Often it seems that his friends, those he makes smile, will only use him for that. They also see nothing more to him than a fun guy who knows how to make people laugh. They don't ever ask him for his feelings, about the issues he's dealing with, and he struggles with a lot of resentment because of it.
