i was asked on this site and another about how i draw eyes, so here's a tutorial!
let me break it down since my writing is very very poor so i'm just going to type the steps here:

1. draw your eye and make a layer underneath with the eye colour
2. make the top half of the iris dark and i mean like really dark compared to the lower half
3. blend that shizz yo
4. draw a big oval/circle with the same dark colour on the top
5. add them highlights yo
6. draw a pupil with a noticeably darker colour inside that large circle
7. draw a little ring in the pupil [optional]
8. draw a crescent underneath the pupil [optional
9. colour the lines and add some shines and you're done yo

honestly you can stop at step 4 depending on your art style, but i like to do the extra so i usually will do all the steps,
or sometimes i'll exclude step 8.

just use lock alpha to change the colour from grey to whatever and try it out yourself c:
