Just more stuff for my new species the Syad. A Syad is not conceived like most mammal types. Instead a large pearl is laid (always the same color as the pearls the Syad will later carry between its horns) and through the gestation period a polyp is formed (like a jellyfish). This polyp is usually purple, blue, or grey to help it blend in with the rocks or coral the pearl was laid on. Closer to the time of the Syad breaking through the pearl (which has slowly hollowed out and grown into a thinly shelled egg) 4 tentacles will appear in the middle of the polyp. The color of the tentacles are the same color as they will be once the Syad is fully grown. It takes 5 months for the Syad to be born and once it is it is only 7 inches tall. Syads grow to their adolescent size within a month. From there the growth hormones slow and it takes 30 years for an adolescent to reach adulthood. Syads can't breed until they reach 45 years.
This particular pearl is the egg of my darling girl Cnidara.
