A Vector is a lizard like creature. Vectors can be identified by the gems that grow on their backs. A Vector eats minerals, rocks, and metals, though most Vectors favor a specific one. They use their claws and tail blade to break rock and dig. Vectors have extremely powerful bites, easily cutting through steel. These long lived creatures breed rarely and only have one pup at a time.
Mutations:
Never Grow Syndrome: Vector Pups can sometimes get Never Grow Syndrome (NGS), meaning they will not grow to adult size. This is a random genetic mutation. Uncommon.
Blindness: It is not rare for a Vector to be blind, due to their homes in caves. Uncommon.
Armorless: A random genetic mutation in which a Vector has no armor. Uncommon to semi-rare.
More Jewels: Some Vectors have more jewels than others. Can either be genetic (naturally more jewel growth) or signify greater age.
