Lizard dog mothers will stay with their pups as long as permitted, being very social creatures; although the pups only depend only the mother's milk for about 2 weeks. When born, a lizard puppy will have a soft, fleshy tail and scales; therefore being extremely vulnerable to harm. They are born with all of their senses, similar to lizards.

-you can only breed lizard dogs once every 2 weeks
-lizard dogs mate for life
-lizard dogs can breed a maximum of 5 times
-have permission of the owner of the other
lizard dog if you are breeding with their lizard dog
-lizard dogs cannot have pups with a
lizard dog of the same gender.

To make this whole breeding thing fair, I have a little system for the artists. here you can flip a coin, with a 50/50 chance heads or tails. Every time the artist accepts a form, they'll have to flip this coin a few times to determine things about the pup(s).
2 pups = heads // 1 pup = tails
female = heads // male = tails
mom's tail = heads // dad's tail = tails
