what is 100 theme challenge adopts ?
There are exactly 100 themes these designs
are and will be based off of. No lines will be
used so everything is unique in its own way.
Some themes have subgroups which breaks
up into more than one design.

star system
see how many Star currencies you have here.

what am I paying for ?
Please keep this in mind when
sending a trade. You are not just
paying for the design. You are
paying for the design, my time
spent on it, my ideas going into
the design, and my ideas for the
later designs.

    how does this work ?
We have a new system to calculate
how much to pay and what to pay.
The currency we use here are Silver
    Stars and Gold Stars.

You can take the adopt off CS but
please don't claim design as your own.
If you trade/sell/gift in the future,
please let me know beforehand so that
I may add on the new owner's name.

currency and how/what to pay ?
Everything related to price can be
found here. The Star token system is
the currency we use and it's working
smoother than the previous "send a
    trade to adopt" method. c:

Various Species

Postby moosetachio » Fri Apr 11, 2014 10:50 am

    --------------------------------------------------------

    Eldisen x / x / x
    Image

"Dwelling in the secluded mountains of the Northern Wastelands, his/her species has been residing there since the first snow fell from the heavens. Their ancient magik runs through hundreds of thousands, if not millions of years of lives. An incredible intelligent breed, their memorization skills are seconds to none. Their society keeps no record on paper or stone, only by their minds. They live in families of 7-15, ranging from elders to the newborn young. Their base fur color is mostly always white. Their markings can be any other variation of colors. The horns of their heads come in many different sizes and shapes, depending on their age and their magikal abilities. Their thick dense fur keep them warm in the harsh environment. Their name, Eldisen, translated from Norwegian, means ancient ice.

Eldisen's lifespan is about 250 years, due to their small population. Once a young Eldisen has reached the age of 15, they are put into groups depending on their skills through a test. The groups tells of what that Eldisen does in the family. The hunters have long but strong legs to travel long distances to hunt for food. They are usually nimble on their feet but pack quite a punch when their hunters instincts kick in. The guardians guard their territory from natural and unnatural predators. The caretakers care for pregnant mothers and the young ones until they reach the age of 15. And last but not least, the healers who cultivate special herbs and care for the sick and injured of the family."

    Fury x / x / x
    Image

"Majestic and noble, these creatures have the intellect to match humans. They isolate themselves from the human world; preferring to live among themselves. Their society can be quite complex. Like the humans, they have rankings. Starting from the highest is the royal family which includes the king, queen, and princes and princesses which rule over the land. Under the royal family comes the noble families which is split into 4 clans and whose existence is to support and protect the royal family.*** After the noble family comes the royal guards. Then the craftsmen, followed by nomads and traders, and lastly, the serfs.

Each and every fury is gifted with the power of transformation from birth. They can transform into "humans" with the only exception of keeping their ears and tails, and sometimes fur on some parts of their bodies. A special characteristic of furies are their long and elegant ears. The more "pure" their blood is, the higher in ranking they come, so the longer their ears are. The royal family members' ears are quite long and graceful.

    Skulltrix x
    Image

Named after the skull like masks they have, Skulltrixes are born with their skull like faces. Throughout their years, their horns will continue to grow until they die. Besides their skull faces, they can also be recognized from their long and muscular tail and random sprouts of feathers. Feathers can grow anywhere on their bodies in any size, color, and shape. However, Skulltrixes do not have wings despite their feathers. Skulltrixes are solitary creatures until the mating season where hundreds gather in groups. Usually quite docile and calm, they can get vicious when fighting for a mate. These creatures' main diet includes meat, fish, and the occasional honey comb.

Lysken x (yet to be introduced here)
Lyskens are fluffy creatures that dwell deep in the woods. They are the size of a raccoon with a longer than average body, and antlers/horns on their heads. All Lyskens have something on their body that related back to the forest may it be actually living thiings growing on their fur or animal/tree-like markings. The inside of their ears are always striped and there's always something glowing on them. Very shy creatures, they will scramble up a tree or into a burrow at the first hint of danger. Their diet includes roots, berries, mushrooms, flowers, and an occasional small bird or rodent. Their name derives from the Norwegian words "lys" and "skogen" which means "light woods".

Shrine Fox x / x (yet to be introduced)
Every 100 years, a shrine fox is born from the clash of positive and negative energy given off from humans. Larger than an average fox, they are drawn towards abandoned shines and temples. If that shrine or temple is not already occupied by another shrine fox, they will make it their territory. Very territorial, they can get quite cruel and vicious when unwanted beings step into their grounds. They love to scare little children and the occasional adult.

Each fox has 2 glowing orbs the color of their markings that follow them wherever they go. Harmless, they can hardly be seen in daylight. They are very curious and love to play tricks. Shrine foxes all stimulate one of these 3 senses: scent, sight, and/or hearing. Most foxes only stimulate one sense, but on rare occasions, a fox might have more than one. A fox that stimulates the eyes would most likely glow on its body markings. A fox that stimulates the nose might trail flower petals or carries incense or sorts. And a fox that stimulates the ears might have bells or other objects that creates sounds.

When the first Shrine fox was made by the Jade Emperor in the beginning of time, She had beautiful wings. Coming down to earth, the people viewed her as an angel and worshiped her. As her offsprings grew, they forgot to be kind to the humans and started abusing their powers to get what they want. Furious, the Jade Emperor took away their wings and sentenced them to live on earth to redeem themselves. Shrine foxes will partner up with a miko [priestess] at a shrine to help with prayers and wish granting. Once they have fulfilled 1000 wishes, they will be granted privilege to be able to return to the heavens. Their magic comes from their natural surroundings. The older they get, the more powerful they become.

Not all shrine foxes have feathers. Legend has it that Shrine foxes born with feathers have genes of an angel in them. Therefore they are valued higher than foxes without.

Foxling x (yet to be introduced)
A far off cousin from Shrine foxes, Foxlings are small foxes without the double orbs Shrine Foxes have. Instead, they have a single orb that will wander off and disappear if not contained somehow. They are sly, cunning, and cowards unless in a large group. Foxlings are considered as pests by some creatures for they tend to gang up on other creatures and bully them until they give up their food. However, as cowardly as they are, they cannot cross with a shrine fox for shrine foxes' celestial powers are much higher. So they just jabber at them from afar. Also unlike Shrine foxes, foxlings can have wings and it's not particularly unusual. Foxlings are born from eggs.

    Koi Dog x (unofficial)
    Image

Koi dogs are small dogs that have fish fins and eastern dragon antlers. Some have fins dragon whiskers and/or gills. They have forked tongues like snakes. Koi dogs are freshwater creatures that needs to stay in water at least 6 hours a day. They must sleep in water but they can move freely on land. They cannot survive in dry regions like deserts and cannot survive long in salt water. They eat seafood including squid, octopus, shellfish, starfish, and sea urchins. And they love jellyfish as a snack. c: They are very energetic and can dart around in water quickly and swiftly. Their fins cannot stay under harsh sunlight for too long or else they can burn.

    Pocky Fluffs x
    Image

The size of corgis, these fluffy and mischievous creatures have pocky sticks growing from their fur. They can be recognized from their fluff tipped tail, ears which ends in tuffs of fur, jagged mouths, and sticks of pocky. Generally fluffs are based off of a single real pocky flavor, but unusual flavors can be found too. Baby fluffs have an enormous appetite, no growing sticks of pocky, and their tails are bobbed.

Guidelines for Sending an Offer

Postby moosetachio » Fri Apr 11, 2014 10:51 am

I have been getting questions and confusion on what to offer and how much these are going for. I'm still in the process of sorting this information, but I'd thought I'd post what I know into a small guide here to help you.

::What Am I Paying for?::
Please keep this in mind when sending a trade. You are not just paying for the design. You are paying for the design, my time spent on it, my ideas going into the design, and my ideas for the later designs.

::Currency and How/What to Pay::
Everything related to price can be found here. The Star token system is up and running and it's working smoother than the previous "send a trade to adopt" method. c:
