I think I know why you can't do tails,you have to do the layers. Layers have something to do with it.also when you do layers,I suggest using alpha lock,my friend taught me that,and so i tried it and it was alot cleaner.

Lol yeah I'm sure the tail screwed because it was the wrong layer, I remember I was on the pup _ [5?] layer and tried to colour the father's tail [I was doing Mason too] and I was like, "Why do the colours look a bit dull and weird!? :C!!". "Oh woops. Uhm, wrong layer."
They're so pretty :3 I love the one on her back, looking back and bowing! Not taking any unless there's some left, maybe though.
