The Name means 'Love Voice/Lovely Voice', because the first ever found liked to sing songs for the humans.
Also known as Aiko.
Over time, some people had managed to live peacefully side by side with the Ainokoe.

What is an Ainokoe?
An Ainokoe is a large cross species of cat and bird with small feathered wings and a large fluffy tail. Although this species look quite capable of flying, they can barely lift off the ground. Their wings are too small in comparison to the body, and will only allow a Ainokoe to glide for a few short seconds at a time when there is a breeze. The jewel on the tail is on both female and male Ainokoes, and they glow if they curl their tail around their body and during mating months in the spring to attract mates.

The young of an Ainokoe are called Aiki, but many refer to them the kit instead. The kits are usually extremely fluffy to protect them from the elements. The jewel on their tails are smaller, as it seems to grow with the Ainokoe itself. When a kit is born, it's as large as a fullgrown house cat, and when they reach an age of five years, they are considered a young adult, capable of surviving on their own.

Sizes:
Adult(10-22): Tiger sized
Young adult(5-9): Clouded leopard sized
Kitten(0-4): Housecat sized


How to Adopt
Just click on the Aiko that you're interested in and check to see if it's still up for adoption. If it still is, the guidlines to adopting are posted by the artists. Please follow the rules for that Aiko along with the overall rules for this species.


Make sure to read the rules before adopting an Ainokoe!!


Aging Rules:
- Aikos need to be at least 5 years to be on adult lines! Means, all Aikos are 5 or over 5.
- All Aikis have to be at least 1 year and under 5 years to be on the kitten lines.
- We only recolor Aikis on adult lines for a certain price. Be sure of that before adopting a baby Aiko.
The same goes for a bred Aiki.

- There are PPS Ainokoes.
- PPS Aikis are sterile.


Rules
- Listen to artists/mods/me.
- You are not allowed to create your own Ainokoe or claim the species as your own.
- Don't ask for customs. We don't do any customs.
- Trading an Aiko with another user is not allowed!
- Don't edit or add in things to the form, if not stated by the artist, else you will get disqualified.
- You can only have a maximum of 6 Aiko, unless you have permission from me to have more.
- Do not complain or whine if you don't win.
- Do not attack a user who won an Aiko in any way!
- Aikos have 5 breeding slots.
- Make sure to handle and check your breedings, if they breed more than 5 times, the latest kitten will be deleted.
- Please try not spam this thread, but questions, suggestions or just a bump are all allowed.

Artist Rules

- Artists need to be active.
- If you have no time anymore or need a break, pm me first.
- Artists can make themselves a custom every two months.
- No Aikos resembling movie, books, Mangas or Anime characters.
(There is a old one which does, this one is special.)
- Lines have to remain uncolored.
- An Ainokoe comes in many different colors and patterns.
- Ainokoes can not have neon colors. Colors like bright pinks, greens...
- Unnatural colors must not cover the whole body. Accents are fine.
- However, natural colored Aikos are prefered.
- They aren't allowed to look like they fell into a paint bucket. Means, no multiple splashes of different colors.
- No symbols or letters. Example: A moon, music note, flowers... No numbers as well.
- Tribal and other markings allowed.
- You can add jewerly, but only little.
You can make line changes, small ones, but you need to ask me for permission first.


Tip:
Turn opacity of shading down some, to be able to making bright colors like white and cream.

Breeding Rules

Breeding thread

- You can only breed a male and female Aiko.
- Aikos are breedable at their 5th year of living.
- PPS can't produce kits, they are sterile.
- Each Aiko has 5 slots. If an Aiko gets breed more than 5 times, latest kitten will be deleted.

- Form A
Breeding two of your own Aikos. Will result in 1 kitten for yourself.
- Form B
Using your Aiko and ask another user for permission.Will result in 2 kittens. Owners need to make up their mind who gets which kitten.
- Form C
Not owning any at all, ask two users for permission. Aikoless users will only receive 1 kitten and owner of the parents none.

- Breedings will only be drawn on the kit lines. If you want them recolored in adult lines, you got to pay a price you will discuss with the certain artist.
- You have to wait two real weeks after ordering a breeding to breed any Aiko at all again.
- You have to wait two real weeks after adopting or getting a breeding to breed your Aiko.
- You have to quote the permission of the user(s) if you don't own one or both of the Aikos you want to breed.
- Only post a breeding form if an artist opened a certain number of available slots for breeding.
- The artists will open up their slots on a separate thread.
- The artist can turn down a breeding if it's too difficult to do for them. You need to pick another artist then.
- You can requests up to 3 free features which may get passed on, on your kitten. You have to pay if you request more.
- The features need to be on the parent(s) to get passed on. The features may or may not show up.
- The kitten can't be exactly like one parent due to copy right.
- You have to talk with the chosen artist about the price or if you would like anything changed on your kitten.
