Going to do an artist competition for these lovely bettas!

I would like you do be able to use alpha lock and understand some basics on how to use the different techniques there are c:
The design can be anything, and all colours are allowed c: Just remember not to use anything copyrighted!
The winners may keep their designs.
You may enter 2 times.

Gosh... it has been hard to choose! I mean, I haven't had very many contestants so choosing out of the few I have makes me feel terrible if someone is left sad....

I will do this: There will be 2 full artists and a guest artist who may create up to five bettas, here one being a custom.

The rest will also be guest artists, but will only be able to make three designs, and one being a custom out of the three.

Full artists will be allowed to have two designs up for adoption at one time (to lessen the stress) and may create two customs. This is subject to change.


So here are the outcomes of the contest (please don't be angry at me or anything, I loved them all ^^)

1st place and full artist: FrostAurora -I guess it's the blending... It's the technique that's just so "neat"... I don't know, can't really explain it. Perhaps it's my instincts that tell me you'll create some pretty bettas!

2nd place and full artist: ParaKitty716 -Call me a terrible judge or anything out want -.-' ... Just cannot tear my eyes away from designs that are mystical... Really love your first design, guess that was the one that got me staring just a bit... xD

3rd place and guest artist allowed to create four designs and one custom: Allyssia_banter -Your design is stunning. The fact that you made the lineart neat is also amazing. I think you deserve more for what you did, but I don't want to change too much at the moment. Maybe I'll let you revamp the lineart when I end up hating mine. Dunno, it's just pretty. <3

Guest artists allowed to create two designs and a custom: ShadowGal990 and Driftblades -They look great too... but I just couldn't choose... I love they idea you had for yours, ShadowGal, and Driftblades, yours look so well thought out as well... (although just remember not to colour the lineart in ^^) I really think you both should be part of this <3 It's always great to have as many new ideas as possible and I don't want to miss out on yours!
