What Are They?

Treeids are medium sized canines who were engineered by the humans over 100 years ago. They were lost before they were finalized. Treeids live in forests but high up in the trees, ready to strike their prey. They eat meat and on the odd occasion fruits. They have large metal plates which grow onto them slowly as well as a large fanned tail for a shield. They have long ribbon like blades on their legs as well as horns that help with attack or defense.[/quote]


The Rules

People don't like em but I think we should start out with them before getting into too much Treeid Details.

- Respect all Staff and everyone who comments. Everyone desires respect.
- Please don't ask to be a Mod or an Artist, I will post try-outs as I need them.
- No asking for Customs right now, I may allow them later on.
- Designs will be released as my artists feel needed, Do not pressure them.
- Treeids may be NOT Fursonas
- There is no own limit at the moment but this is subjected to chance.
- There is to be no Selling of designs.
- No stealing Designs, No claiming designs and no using without permission from the owner.
- All re-adoption or gifting is to be run by me first.

About The Treeids

Their Tail

Their tails are one of the main traits to a Treeid. Their tails work as many things. They arct as a shield during battle and fan during the heat. They are always used as a way to show off. The tails of a Treeid is usually brightly coloured, the more colourful the more showy they are. Mostly the males use their tails but females are commonly proud of them as welll but are not used for mate attraction like the males..

Their Armor

Treeids have thick metal plates on their backs which are used for protection as well. They grow larger and thicker as they age. When treeids hit adulthood they grow large metal shields on their face and muzzle. This is a long and painful process for adult who hit 2.

Their Ribbons

Treeids have large ribbons on their legs, when in battle or stressed they harden and turn into razor like blades which are used for attacking when needed. They are sharp and quite easily tear through bones. These grow at the same time as the metal head plates grow.

General Sizes of the Treeid

Treeids are rather small creatures who tend to hide in the trees.

Pup - As a pup the Treeids are about 40-45 cm in Height. Pups are from newborn to 1 year (2 Human months of growth)
Teen - As a teenager the average Treeids are about 55-60 cm height. Teens are 1 year to 2 years(2 Human Months of growth)
Adult - As an Adult the Treeids is about 80 cm in Height. 2+years.

These sizes are the average, some Treeids can be smaller or larger but not by too much without confirming with me.
