What are they?

Horned Dragons are a small canine like species living in the Northern United States, Canada, and Russia. They have thick layers of fur, which is both water proof, and aids in fighting against the cold of the north. Their tails are quite short, and made of thick tube-like fur. It is very rare to find a Horned Dragon with a tail longer then usual. Finally, the most prominate feature in Horned Dragons are in fact the horn atop their head. For males, it is used in combat, while in females it is used to warn off predators from taking their young.

8. Currently, you may only own 3 Horned Dragons. This may change in the future
9. You must get permission from me to make any design or line changes
10. You may add items to your Horned Dragon, if you wish to. You must ask the artist who designed the horned dragon first, though
11. Custom Horned Dragons are reserved for my staff. No amount of begging or bribing will allow you to have a custom
12. Do not mini-mod
13. Horned Dragons cannot be fursonas unless you get permission from me
14. You may not sell Horned Dragons for any type of currency ( pets, C$, etc )
15. You may only color in gift lines if you own a Horned Dragon.
16. You cannot co-own a horned dragon
17. If you wish to re-adopt a Horned dragon, you must inform the artist who designed it, and follow these rules;

-You may not gift your horned dragon unless given permission from me
-You may create the new contest for the horned dragon
-You may help with judging
-There are no runner ups for re-adoptions

18. I have the right to add/remove rules as I please. Check frequently!
19. If you owned a horned dragon before these lines were created, pm me and I will revamp them onto these lines for you. If you do not want to revamp them onto these lines, but still want to participate in roleplays or whatnot, you must PM and get direct permission from me to do so. Any revamped horned dragons will not go into the new archive

Info and Facts

Horns
Every Horned Dragon which has ever exsisted has had a horn. There will never be a time when a horned dragon doesn't have a horn. Sometimes, a horned dragon has a broken horn, but they are never fully off, since they are made of a material nearly as strong as steel. Horned dragons can grow more then one horn, but it is quite uncommon.

Diet
A horned dragons diet most oftenly consists of mainly plants and small rodents. These creatures are too small to take on prey larger then a baby deer, though in packs they can take down an animal as large as a buffalo.

Packs
Though many horned dragons are solitary, some will form packs mainly consisting of a breeding pair and their offspring, much like wolves. In packs, horned dragons will all hunt together, taking down large prey for the whole pack to feast on.

Sizes
Though horned dragons range in sizes, the key below shows the most common sizes.

Pup- rat sized
Child- kitten sized
Teen- cat sized
Adult- australian shepherd sized

Items
Some horned dragons enjoy to wear items. They are most oftenly small little charms tied around various parts of their body, though sometimes they will wear scarves, hats, and on occassion, a sweater.

PFS
PFS- pup forever syndrome. Some pups are born with this disease, which causes a chemical to be released in the brain haulting all pup growth. Those who have this may gain adult personalities, though many keep a childlike personality. Pups with this condition are allowed to date, but may not have children of their own.

Growth Rates

- One Horned Dragon year is equal to two human months
- Horned Dragons are full grown at 6 human months, or three horned dragon years
- Ask the artist whom designed your Horned dragon to age your dragon. If they are busy, let me know and you may ask another artist
