A Gong is a small, furry creature. They are around the size of an average squirrel when fully grown, and the size of a golf ball at birth. They have long, fluffy tails; pointed ears, one of which is always floppy; flaps of skin they can glide with.
They always carry around a bell which they receive at birth.
They can come in a range of colours, but are very rarely found one-coloured. Their paw pads and skin flaps are always the same colour.
Their diet consists originally of cherry blossoms, but they have adapted to eat all types of flowers.
Gongs communicate through cute chittering noises. They have great singing voices, and cane make the sound of a gong, which they are named for.
They can be found in all areas of the world, but originally come from different parts of Asia.

All right, to adopt this lil' guy, give me a name, personality and why he likes to hand around in a dark cave with the bats. c:

N a m e ; Night. I know it's short and simple, but I feel like it's special.

P e r s o n a l i t y ; He's very shy and timid, however unlikely it may seem.
On the outside he tries to be tough and fierce, but really he's just a sweet heart.
He's quite smart, and prefers to bealone. He's the quiet type, and can sometimes
be thought to be mute.

R e a s o n ; Night likes spending time with the bats in the dark caves for
one simple reason. He likes to. He feels at home, and thinks the bats are great
company. The darkness relaxes him, and the whole idea just floats his boat.

Name :: I've decided to name him Batter. The 'bat' part, is kind of obvious, but the real reason for choosing this name is because he looks like the kind of guy to 'batter' up people, and looks kinda battered himself.

Personality :: He's a loner, a quiet shy guy. He prefers to spend his time away from others, and with the bats. He is generally a smart guy, and likes to do puzzles in his spare time. He's very brave when it comes to people in danger, which proves he does in fact like friends. He is very cheerful, and friendly.

Why He Likes To Hang Around In A Dark Cave With The Bats :: The bats are like his friends. He looks up to them, and they admire him too. The darkness helps him concentrate. He just really enjoys the darkness of the cave, and the bats.
