Kampus Equus

Hello! I see you've discovered these elusive creatures. These creatures are called Kampus Equus. The first Kampus Equus was found by myself and soon after more were found, and so I began to study them. We know much about these creatures, but there's still a lot to learn.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

Kampus Equus are creatures that are
part horse part sea creature.
Their tail is very powerful and
can carry them swiftly across the water.
KE's have eyes that seem to glow in low light.
They are usually brightly colored and exotic.
These creatures are very athletic and
able to swim long distances without tiring.
Now and then they have horns on there foreheads.

Kampus Equus can range anywhere from 12 to 16 hands
long ( a hand is 4 inches). Their tail is at least as long
as their body length, if not longer.

PERSONALITY AND TEMPERAMENT

Male KE's have fiery tempers. They protect Mermares with
their lives and are quick-witted and cunning. They
often fight among one another in duels over
smart mares but never take them to the death or
serious injury.

Females have calmer personalities and use their
intelligence and lack of testosterone to find ways
to solve problems that will involve less bloodshed.
Females are brilliant tacticians and are often sought
after by males for their level of cunning.

MATING AND BREEDING

While Kampus Equus do not mate for
life, they are loyal to their mates and Merstallions will
do anything to protect their harem. KE's usually have
a harem of 2 to 4 mares, with one mare that is chosen
to breed. The chosen Mermare must be strong, intelligent
and be able to take the stress of helping lead the harem.
Mermares can breed every 6 months and bear 2 foals a year.

Males

• They are called MERSTALLIONS,
based off their equine traits
• The are usually more brightly
colored than Mermares.

Females

• They are called MERMARES,
based off their equine traits
• Mermares are not as
colorful as Merstallions

Merfoals

• Merfoals are what baby KE's are called
• All foals are born with duller colors that
brighten when they age
• There fins grow out to and are shorter when young.
