Outlet Cats Artist Competition

Welcome to the first artist competition for my new species, Outlet Cats. And, if some of you didn't know, the species lines and concept is by okami_fan.

About Outlet Cats-

An outlet cat is a mammal that resembles a cat. They are the size of a large house cat, sometimes a bit smaller. Outlet cats run on electricity. Their tail is one of their most significant features. They have a short stub of fluff, then an electrical plug coming out. Instead of sleeping, outlet cats plug their tails into an outlet. While their tail is plugged in they are recharged for the next day. They always wear a set of large headphones on their head. The reason why they wear these is because their ears do not work. Instead, they hear out of these headphones. They also have a glowing power button symbol upon their forehead. This symbol glows brightest when the cat is charged up, but as it looses electrical power, the symbol dims. Outlet cats can come in any color, and they all have plug tails and headphones. Their paw pads and tongue are always the same color as their power button symbol.

Outlet Cat Types-

Outlet Cats can be classified as common, rare, and very rare. Common ones are cats with the normal length tail, normal size and glow of symbol, normal amount of fur, normal headphones, and a normal body size/features. Rare cats are ones with just extra fur, different ears, bigger paws, or their power symbol glows even brighter. Very rare outlet cats are those who are completely different. Say their tail is a different length, they have no fur, their headphones are ear buds, and many more interesting looks.

What You Should Know-

Coloring Outlet Cats requires a special way to do it. The body color can be as colorful or natural as you want, but please no extreme sparkle dogs or anything. We don't need all neon colors used as it's fur color. What I like to see if natural bases with some neon markings or vise versa. The headphone color can be any color you would like, but I prefer to use natural colors. The tail and headphone colors are the same, and you can add small markings to them, but they each have to consist of them. As in, three spots on the headphones and on the tail. The power button and plug (section on the top are always the same color, and so far aren't known to have designs in them, so please don't do that. The energy color (see the thing that looks like a battery at the top of the reference? That's the energy bars), eyes, and the three lines on the headphones and tail are always the same color, and never consist of designs. The little square below the three bars is whatever color you want, and the same color on the headphones and tail. There are no designs in those squares. And, last but not least, the two plug bars are either any shade of grey, bronze, or golden.

Please don't use too many colors on the pelt, 5 is the max. I would prefer you don't do line edits, unless you know you can make them look good.

Prizes-

First Place:
First place gets an artist position and to keep one of their designs they created, or they could change the 'keep one of their designs' into one extra custom you are allowed to make as an artist. You get the ability to make special Outlet Cats and line edits. First place is allowed to choose four pets from this group.

Second Place:
Second place gets an artist position and to keep one of their designs they created. If they are good enough, they get the ability to make special Outlet Cats and line edits too. Second place is allowed to choose three pets from this[/ur] group.

Third Place:
Third place gets a guest artist position, but if I find them good enough, they can be promoted to an artist. They get the ability to make small line edits. Third place is allowed to choose two pets from this group.

Fourth Place:
Fourth place gets a guest artist position, in which they can design up to 7 Outlet Cats over a three week period. If I find them good enough, they might be able to make small line edits. Fourth place is allowed to choose two pets from this group.

Rules-

▶ do not steal or copy designs
▶ no bribing to win
▶ you design entries for yourself, others don't design them for you
▶ you can enter up to three entries
▶ please make at least two to show me what you can make
▶ don't make line edits unless you know you can make them good
▶ please don't whine on other people's entries and say, "Oh, I should just give up now cause I know I have no chance against you." Yeah, it's annoying. You can wish good luck and say it's nice, but that's it.
▶ if you don't win, you don't keep a design

▶ You can NOT sell your designs if you win or lose!

Are we allowed to make rare or very rare cats? If we can pull off the line edits, of coarse. I have an idea, but it would be a very rare Outlet cat if I made it.

The rest of my entry's would either stick to the lines or have fairly simple edits.

Yeah, that's totally fine. I believe I mentioned that somewhere in the rules.
