What is a Sora Neko?

Sora nekos are what all of the felines of the world originate from, they are an ancient species, only recently discovered. They are much like the felines of today except that they defy the laws of science, like they can fly and unnatural phenomenon seem to happen around them, some classing it as 'magic'.

This one is inspired by a male character and so i would prefer it is kept male.
Anyway, my second Neko for the week. Inspired by Suou Mikoto from K Project.

Story of how you found him/her:
I was trekking through the forest, running now, furious.
My mom had broken the news, and my family was splitting apart.

My parents were getting divorced.

I sprinted through a grove of strange flowers, tears trailing down my cheeks, I felt so betrayed. I collapsed against a tree stump and cried as the sky dimmed. After I had cried myself out, and what felt like forever had past, I could hear my mom calling. I felt like I was made of glass, totally breakable and fragile, as if one of the circling fireflies were enough to knock me down. I couldn't go back yet. I buried my head in my arms, but then looked up suddenly, startled. There, next to a small group of fireflies, was a . . . what? A pink firefly? I suddenly heard a meowling sound coming from the bush as a small Sora Neko came up to me, it's pink orb swinging. It nuzzled my arm, as if it was telling me it would all be ok. I calmed, and even smiled a bit, hugging the Neko to my chest as it purred. "Who're you, little guy?" I asked softly. It gave me a Look and an indignant meOWr! I giggled. "Oh, sorry, little girl. What's your name?" She looked up at me, her beautiful black and pink coat silhouetted against the fireflies and purred, "Amiwrrra!" "Amira?" She purred again and rubbed against my sweater.

"Mara?" a vioce called from down the hill. I sigh and feel weak again from crying as it all comes back, but before I stiffen my resolve and walk down, a new friend behind me, I hug the Sora Neko tight. "Thanks for being there." I whispered. "You've helped more then anyone else could.

I couldn't imagine her not being there.
Roaring or purring, to protect or reassure me.

  i released a breath of air, aiming at a rabbit. the rabbits ear perked. all was silent. then the rabbit sprinted across the forest floor, i released an arrow, the rabbit was no where in sight.
  "none" i scolded at myself, i relaxed my hand from the bow. a thought ran through my mind "what scared it?" i continued walking through the forest, stepping over twigs. then i saw a small herd of deer, i aimed my bow at the eldest, when they all darted away. i licked my finger and held it up in the air. but the wind was not bringing my sent to them. i continued to walk through the forest, only this time i was alert. i heard a rustle in the bushes and aimed my bow. a feline creature came out. it was not afraid of me though. it slowly approached me with a soft hiss. i gently stroked its fur, a sign of not being hostile. ever since that, it followed me home everyday.
