What exactly are Horned Dragons, also known as HD's?
Horned Dragons are small, friendly creatures living in the northern parts of Canada and the United States. They have thick fur, consisting of three layers. The top layer is waterproof, allowing swimming. The other two layers are mostly for warmth. These small dragons also have a short, fluffy tail to help with quick movement, and surprisingly enough it helps with swimming. They also have some spots just underneath their eye, and it is extremely rare to find one that doesn't, though it has been reported there have been some horned dragons without spots under their eye.
How did these dragons get their name you ask? Well, each Horned Dragon, both male and female, grow a horn on their forehead by the time they hit maturity. Their horn doesn't really serve any purpose in life for Females, though males use them for attracting females. Like deer, and other creatures like them, male Horned Dragons also fight with their horns, though it oftenly lasts only a fe quick moments.
Another feature of these dragons are that many of them have chibi wings. They don't serve a purpose, since they are too heavy to fly, but it is more of a way for attracting mates. Some dragons don't have any wings, which is fine, since they are useless.

Facts
-Size of Horned Dragons according to their age-
Egg- About the size of a can of soda.
Hatchling- Size of a full grown rat
Child- Size of a small house cat
Teen- Size of a full grown house cat
Adult- About as large as an Australian Shepherd
-The color of a Horned dragon egg usually reflects the color of the dragon's horn color.
-Horned dragons have specially developed webbed feet and lungs, allowing them to swim fast and stay underwater for up to an hour.
-The horns on a Horned Dragon are actually longer than they seem, though they will oftenly rub their horn on a rock to trim it down and sharpen it.
-Horned dragons remain genderless until they are a few days old, when females will develop their horn first.
