Horse is finished up for now. I have the same mane on the near side as well. I plan on 2 more mane types. I am working on the wolf now, then if I have time before the end date I will do a feline as well.

There are both highlighting and shading layers like you asked for. At the moment there are no accessories, but there could and would be added as requested.

You don't have to use my background but I'll make it to where it will work with either of the 3 linearts.

I have not looked at this contest for a bit, so I had no idea about your entry, But I would soon just LOVE to see you horse entry!

I have been working on Betta Adoption center I made and my Boyfriend has had me into playing "world of Warcraft" allot lately XD haha


anyways though only part of the wolf is showing as just red line are I am REALLY loving the start of it

Even if I do gain my skill up very soon in Drawing I am horrible with line arts and with Wolves I am horrible at the Tail and kinda the legs and feet sorta same with ears if you looked at one I started while ago

But anyways point is Rather I come up with the skill I still plan on Taking some line arts due to the fact that I LOVE and I mean LOVE making Animal Characters.

If any Accessories I prefer them mostly on the Wolf line art if anything..
But Also I will be adding some simple one's maybe over the time but with seeing how much time is being put into just the horse and the start of the wolf (12:44) I am amazed and I have feeling this is just gonna be amazingly beautiful <3

I have the horse showing now. The wolf line art is done but not showing so I'm going to do a color in to show it completed. I will PM you how to use these layers... not that I'm unique, but I have a way to use it so it's shading and highlight layers can be used with any color.

Also Maybe for fun which be easy is horn because never know if I'd end up making a unicorn

It looks good, but I'm certain people will compare it to these:

The only difference seems to be the hair on the tail going down on yours and in these, they are a little more monkey tailed with the long fur only at the end? Your inspiration perhaps?

Sighs I'm trying. . .
I'm almost ready to just Yank them out of the Contest I'm running and announce I I'm changing it up and going to work on the Species
I've been thinking of style changes ALSO adding horn(s) of some sorta

But Still not very sure of what to do D:

But I want to make great chance ALSO because I want to make a Species using Stripes. . .
I freaking love Stripes on any of the Creatures most horse/equine like creatures. . .
But scared people will say it's all a copy from
"Wild Mountain Equids"
When their are other animals on earth even other Species on here that have Stripes of some sort

Plus my Style is somewhat Different than the WME stripes


IDK I've got to keep sketching and come up with idea's of species on DA D:

I want to add a Horn of some sort though. . .
But if an Unicorn horn. . .
it would look like I copied another Species I ran into after I though I sha'll add a Unicorn horn. . . they would look almost alike D:

But I kinda want them to have very long Thin like hair. . .
Then with the Mane I'd like to find an Artist that will be willing to make up to 3-4 different kinds of Manes

Such as
Short Mane on the Neck, then starts to get very long on the back but short again on top of the Tail (kinda want it short every time on the top of the tail)

Then maybe Long mane on neck and back
Short through out neck and back

And probably Long on neck then Short on back which may look the best as well as short through out

IDK still trying to think of other idea's D: I just ain't that great at making a very good reference so I can get a good enough artist
