I probably won't end up using the exact colours, but I love the overall look and the accessories ^^

I've had this character for a long time, but I still haven't completely finished his design yet.
My biggest problem has been choosing colours for him - I do have ideas for a general colour scheme, but I just can't decide which colours should go where!
So that's what this contest is for - you're going to come up with his colours for me!

Rules and Guidelines:
1. You don't have to use the suggested colours; they're really just a guide to show the general colour scheme I have in mind.
2. Don't edit the "markings" layer; just change the colours!
3. Leave the "eye" and "lineart" layers as they are.
4. You can add additional markings, but please keep the overall design simple and symmetrical.
5. If you need me to change the end date, just say so. If you need more time, or if you think that I'm drawing this out too long and want me to shorten it, let me know and I'll extend/shorten the competition.
6. Put some effort into your entry. I know this is a very simple contest, but I don't want you to just slap some colour on and leave it at that - if it were that simple, I would just do it myself!
7. You can enter more than once, if you want to.

I want the overall design to be simple and light.
(for those who have already made a design that doesn't match this description, don't worry - remember, you're allowed to enter more than once!)

Hopefully I will later, but I really haven't been in the mood for it and might just stop commenting on the entries altogether... ^^;

My comments ended up mostly being pretty repetitive anyway - almost always either "this one is nice" or "this one doesn't quite suit the character".

So, sorry about all that ^^;
