What is a Faren?!
Faren (Fare-en) Mustela Felis
A Faren is a small creature that belongs to the rodent family, they are closely related to the squirrel and the weasel, but is different in it's own ways. Some say they even have a little bit of feline in them. They range from the size of a ferret to the size of a red fox.
They are very bouncy energetic creatures that love to hunt animals that are smaller then them such as bugs,beetles,mice,rats,chickens,birds,lizards,snakes and frogs. They usually like to climb up trees, and make "dens" up there made of branches and dirt. They are very curious like a cat and are very interested in what they find. They can make great pets, but need lots of space for their energetic ways.
They generally live in forests and the countryside. They hate the city because of the noise and the amount of people , and are ok in suburban areas. They do not hibernate and get very fluffy in the winter, and a few days before summer they shed almost all of their fur off. During late summer and early fall they have litters that can have 9-20 babies! The mother getd very stressed during this time and because of this are more aggressive during fall. She trys to keep them in a single tree the first few weeks, so they can learn to hunt animals like bugs and birds up there. They start to drift away and hunt more for them selves little by little and soon become independent, although they don't stray too far so there is a chance of the litter meeting up again.

Each Faren should have a litter number. Litters out side the nursery are just like 2nd gens here on CS. Faren can't breed with other members of their litter.
How do I adopt one!?
To adopt a faren go to the faren you want adoption's page and it will say what you need to do to win it. You can adopt up to 5 faren (not including babies), and can make 1 if you are a artist.
