Why?

Postby Napstayore » Sun Jul 22, 2012 12:26 pm

Why do I even come on these forums?
Every thread I join or make fails,
Nobody comments on my drawings,
I'm only here, to be here.

Thanks guys. I made this because I can never make a good Oekaki without using an editable, just about EVERY thread I join or make fails(Except ones I join that are already popular). I'm only good for trades. :(

Your oekaki's are good! Just because no one posts doesn't mean it's bad. Sometimes, I'll make something and be really proud of it, and then no one else posts or they point out anatomy mistakes or other things. Then I just take their advice and try to improve. Just keep trying-find what you're best at, and practice it until you're proud of your work. Like, for example, I know I stink at drawing animals because I like realism and my anatomy and shading stink, so I mostly draw landscapes and still-life's because that's what I'm good at. (Every once in a while, though, I challenge myself and draw an animal... XD) Everyone has something that they're really good at...it just may take a while to find! Keep up the good work!

Thanks. All my pictures I make look cartoony, but I really want them to look realistic. Maybe I should stick to cartoons.

Maybe....I can't draw cartoons to save my life, but yours are really nice...especially that chicken one!
