story: Rowan sighed as she watched her siblings rough house from his favorite tree. His mother laying below watching his siblings. He was the smallest in the group. The runt as his brother put it and seemed to use that as a reason to keep him out of the play fights and his father reluctantly agreed that until he was bigger he needed to watch, listen, and learn about the place he was born into. He'd learned of the other creatures and the test his siblings would face when they reached a year old. The hushed whispers of whether he would make it out of the Black Forest circled around and fueled his ambition to succeed and prove everyone wrong even if she never showed it. He was shy, my nature and preferred the company of his parents and siblings than the other sabers in the tribe. His mother had gotten used to his constant questions about the place he'd been born. He'd learned of the dangerous species that were threats to the tribe and also the strange creatures that were brought back from the forest as meals. He had a lot to learn along side his siblings before they reached the year marker he just hoped he wouldn't be passed by because he was the smallest cub born.
