"Cliff" Jordan said gently, lowering her head as they trudged their way through the piles of snow. "She couldn't have been this far. It's too cold here. A pup of her size wouldn't be able to survive in a place like this. She's dead and you know it."
Cliff stopped in his tracks, his thick pelt trembling with quiet sadness. "Why do you you do that?" He whispers sadly.
"Do what?" Jordan snaps back at him, planting her paws firmly in the cold snow. Cliff whips his head around and cries.
"Why do you make me feel worse about this?! She was my beloved's child!"
"And my neice," Jordan growls calmly at him "but I can not assure you she is alive. I am simply telling you she would have more common sence than to travel to this snowy place if she was still alive." she takes a shaky breath and continues "It's my fault she is gone. We were ambushed by the Blood Lusted and there was nothing--"
"Nothing you could do." Cliff says, tears in his eyes "I know Jordan...: he sighs and looks to the sky. It had just started to snow
"I know."
