the colors mostly have meanings. I've colored harry like that cuz of the spell Epelliarmus with what he defeats voldemort, the green could mean that he was ready to die for all of them (color of killing curse is green) but it can also stand for lily's love cuz her eyes were green. The yellow is for his loyalty to dumbledore and his friends etc (loyalty=hufflepuff=yellow) and also the sort of positive and bright side of the gryffindor colors cuz the red always reminds me of blood... And there's one song called Shattered by Trading Yesterday and there was one line that always reminded me of Harry and what could also explain the yellow: "There's a light, There's a sun, Taking all the shattered ones, to the place we belong, and his love will conquer" <- the sun part (sun=yellow) =D
The blue in hermione is because she is so smart and could've been sorted into ravenclaw. the rest i think is quite easy to understand...
