So here is a scene from my story. I titled it "The Virus" but i may redo the title.
So this story takes place in a time not too far in the future. A Virus from The Bio-derm (working o this name too) Industry escapes into the air. This virus turns people into a new form of zombie. Some quick faster than normal while others grow mutations. Because this is a virus there is no cure yet... The only way to stop the spread is to kill those who are Infected. Some survivors are immune. While others use bandanas, scarves, or masks to keep the virus from them... and then there are those few who look like zombies but for some reason unknown the Virus wasn't able to take over their brain. A group of survivors who call themselves The Angelos. This story follows these survivors and the one that must overtake obstacles of appearance and distrust to find a way to bring the world back to it's former glory.

So here are the ones in the picture. left to right
Inalia - She was born before the Virus Outbreak, to two neglectful parents. When she turned fourteen she ran away from home, wanting to find a happier life. She traveled with her best friend for two years until he was turned into a zombie when the Outbreak happened. She met The Angelos at the age of 16. Thanks to her rough past she knew how to steal and pilage. This talent is what she uses to help The Angelos.

Tainys - The Outbreak happened when he was eighteen about to graduate from high school. He was even accepted into a college full scholarship for martial arts. His parents succumbed to the Virus and he watched as they tore his little sister apart. He was able to get away and vowed that he would hunt his parents down and put them out of their misery. He is immune to the effects of the Virus, mostly. If he is bitten or somehow ingests fluids he becomes ill but after some times he is able to get over it.

Hunter - Hunter is the main character of the story. He isn't compeletely a zombie. Though he may look like a zombie the Virus has been unable to reach and take over his brain. His past was a normal one happy and fun loving he had a lot of friends until the Outbreak happened. He went through the transformation alone hiding in the junkyard. When he awoke he realized that he was able to think and feel like normal... the only thing different was his body. It became pale and green, Parts of his flesh, cheek, and ears were missing where a car had hit him, his eye glows an errie red and there seems to be a constant trickle of blood around his missing eye. He then met Nilex his new best friend and together they found The Angelos.

Nilex - Not much is known about his past but what is known is that noone has ever seen his face. The metal that is embedded into his underbelly and up his sides act as vents. Since he is unable to remove the gas mask the vent brings in air particles and converts them into food. Allowing him to eat. He is very shy and scvared afraid of what happened to a world he does not know. He is hard to befriend until Hunter and him met. They are now inseperable.

Cetoos - Cetoos grew up in a homeless shelter bouncing back and forth between them with his mother. He watched as people died of starvation or injuries that they could not pay for. It is because of this that he became a doctor. He studied years to become the best he could be and finally succeeded when he got a job in one of the largest hospitals in the city. He fell in love with Essara a young and fiesty cat who worked as a police officer. That is until the Outbreak came. He became obsessed with helping those who were Infected until the hospital was closed. On his way home one day he was surrounded by a group of the Infected. He was saved by The Angelos and to his surprise Essara was leading them. He is the doctor now for The Angelos.
