I rarely do hands in so much detail, I aviod it, so this is kinda good practice. As I said I have a wooden hand, like those poseable wooden people. So ya know... I barely use it though, it was for my figures project in art but I don;t do art anymore (after getting a "E" at As level. Wise move me thinks)

Shading is quick and based off the model. Normally people use lots of blocks and circles for the fingers but becuase I do alot of smaller images it isn't possible to fit that detail into sketches, especially in oekaki. So I use shapes and my own hands.
