Furminators can actually damage the hair so your better of just using a normal brush. If you get the correct brushes and brush every day it works just as well with out the risk of being injured.

I'm planning on having my cat Pepper DNA tested soon. Is
this a good one? I understand cat breed DNA tests aren't completely accurate, but I would like to get the most accurate one possible, so if someone knows a more accurate one, or if this is the most accurate, please let me know.
why do you want the cat DNA tested?

I know DNA tests aren't very accurate, and no it doesn't change how I feel about my cats, I'm just curious. The test I put a link to does test for Bengal and while its unlikely my cat is part Bengal, the vet (who has cat breed experience) says that he is possibly part Bengal, and I also see resemblances both personality and appearance wise. Other than that I'm just curious. I know DNA tests aren't that accurate, which is why I asked if that is the/one of the best DNA tests out there.
Completely unrelated to what I said above, I am going to send a PM with all of my cats once I get decent pictures of them all

I'd just like to add that my inbox is always open for those who need some diet advice as well!
I will not give vegan or vegetarian recommendations however, as I believe these are proven to be dangerous for obligate carnivores.

Yuppers. Neutering him should stop him from doing that. While he's still intact he could also start spraying if he hasn't already and if he's allowed outside by himself then he should be neutered asap as he'll be more prone to fighting (which means more injuries) and he'll be a dad to god only knows how many kittens.

if he's young, it could certainly help reduce the mating behaviour! Word of warning though, it might not do it completely - my cat still attempts to mate with cushions c: but it should reduce spraying, aggressive behaviour and him fathering kittens.

first of...how old is the cat, are there other cats, how often and how long do you play each time/-day?
im not a cat owner, even when i want to be one someday^^.....but i know that this does not always helps. its like with dogs and horses, some calm down some not, other go fully grazy....first you may need to find out why he does it...is he bored out of his mind, has to much energy...is an unsure kitten who does not know where its place is...are there other cats in your home or running aroung in backyard or near your home, did you change the feed to something new...or given a new medication, something in his environment, ....a new cat...a new Person ...other things??
what does your vet say...is he healthy, something wrong in his blood...maybe his breed is known to get more agressive with time, ...
then you often need to bring the ..drive down with medication first, that will your vet do, bevor you let him cut anything...if not the drive can stay or get worse,
but when your vet says anything is alright with your cat, first try to find out if his behavior does change when you work him more often and longer each day, and maybe give him something for the night to hunt or find feed so he is calm and worked then too... when this all does not work, talk again for medics to get the drive down and then go fix him-.....atleast when ist real bad it may be needed to do this first step, but this will the vet know, so dont worry go ask them^^
good luck, hope you find a way for him to relaxe and lose his energy over playing...not other things^^
Please klick them or they will die°°!!!
