Lyric looked at him, eyebrow raised. "I don't much appreciate that tone, Sir." She giggled. "And no, silly. It's so I don't have to return to the camp after every little kill, and I bury it so no rats or crows get it!" She looked at him with a smile. "Maybe I'm more streetwise than you after all." She stuck out her tongue.

"No, because pet dogs bury their little bones in the backyard. I've seen Lady and the Tramp. You're Lady, I'm the Tramp. And yes I do bury squirrels and stuff, but not like THAT." Scout rolled his eyes, pointing to the part of the squirrel sticking way up.

((Aww, I never thought of them like Lady and the Tramp before!))
Lyric licked her nose thoughtfully. "I think I've seen that movie. My owner used to like watching movies about dogs." She looked back to the half-buried squirrel and scoffed. "I could be here for hours. How do you expect me to remember where I buried something that I buried a half a day ago?"

((Me neither, just I watched Lady and the Tramp last night, and I just now thought of how they are like Lady and the Tramp))
Scout smirked. "Gee, this is getting annoying. Anyways, I have other ideas." He crouched low, spotting a squirrel. "Shush." He stalked quickly and quietly through the trees, the squirrel unnoticing. Scout leapt up and caught the squirrel, massive jaws killing it. Scout pranced back.

Lyric giggled at the way Scout had buried the squirrel. She sat up, licking her nose nervously. This was her job... but the pack usually had enough food... She looked to Scout, mischief glinting in her eyes. "Okay, let's go!" She dug up her squirrel, picking it up gently and trotting back in the direction of camp. Dropping the squirrel on the kill pile, she turned back to the Doberman. "Okay, I'll follow you!"

Lyric sighed, breathing in the city air. If Scout had told her she couldn't leave the camp, she would have been able to think of 100 places to go. But, because the city was open to them, she could think of absolutely nowhere she wanted to see. "Umm... Why don't you show me one of your favourite places. I don't know the city to well." She lied. She was very used to the city - this was where her people had lived. A little voice in the back of her head wanted to ask Scout if he knew where the old dog park was - maybe she'd see some of her old friends - but she shook that thought away. It was best to leave the past where it was.
