Yvain's pickup truck circled the old hotel before finally parking in the back. The engine puttered to a stop; it would have been a somewhat familiar sound to the inhabitants there. This time, however, he didn't simply drop off the few meager supplies - fresh milk, fruit, and bread. There was no doubt now that the lobby was lived in, given the lack of dust. Lights were on upstairs: he could see the dim glow. Maybe there were even voices. Yvain wasn't sure.

Tonight, he told himself, he would actually stay.

The clementines, gallon jugs of milk, wheat bread and cereal were neatly stacked on the lobby's main desk. Staying was hard enough: he didn't want to press the matter by intruding. Instead he picked up one of the clementines, juggling it lightly in one hand before sitting down in one of the lobby seats, only at the edge, ready to get up instead of relaxed. The clementine was a little under-ripe, but as he started to peel it, he figured the fragrant citrus was enough of an announcement that he was there.

I glanced upwards in slight surprise, but happiness as I heard a voice. I hadn't been doing anything, so having someone come along to talk to always helped. I smiled as I identified the voice as Roxy's. That, and I could read minds. But I didn't have to read her mind to know it was her. Standing up from the couch I brought the water bits together again in a swirling circle in my hand as I walked to the door. Opening it without hesitation, I saw Roxy standing in front of me. "Hey." I said with a slight smile. "I was wondering where everyone went. It's been so quiet today without any training." I said. No doubt the others were in their rooms or just wandering the endless halls. It was always good to see Roxy. She made me happier and lightened my mood, which was usually heavy after watching the humans after a long time. In the back of my mind I registered the presence of another in the building. Someone was downstairs. From the powerful smell that had drifted up from the first floor, I knew who it was. I decided that I would momentarily wait before I sent a greeting to him. He would probably know that I knew he was there though.

(Bah. My creativity lacks. I'm going to be watching Inception, so I can't reply for a while. Or at least, I can't reply when we start the movie.)

I smiled, "Or maybe it's quiet because I haven't broken anything yet." I delivreatly left out the part where I had sort of broken something, but that didn't count as I fixed it with the screwdriver. And then I remembered that Sky could read minds. She would be asking fo-- I smelt citrus fruit, clementines, my favourite. And what a perfect way of getting out of handing the tool over. "Would you mind if we did training later?" I asked Skylor, pulling her along towards the Lobby. There wasn't really much point in saying why as all I could think of were clementines.

Upon arrival into the lobby, I let go of Sky and picked up a clementine before hugging Yvain. Although I knew that many didn't like Yvain communicating with the humans, I didn't think much of it, I thought of him as a father I never had. "Thanks for bringing these clementines, they're my favourite!" I let go of him, looking up, "Are you staying this time?"

Yvain was halfway through a clementine when he was interrupted by the hug. After returning it, he finally sat back and relaxed, giving Roxy a small smile. "I doubt I'm welcome, still. If there's anything you want me to pick up at the store, my paycheck's coming in tomorrow." He glanced around the lobby lightly before lowering his voice. "They had a small toolkit on sale..."

His voice was rather soft, though deep and half-growling, as if betraying his tenderheartedness underneath a stern exterior; it was quite obvious that he was glad to see Roxy, even though he seemed to be almost waiting for her disapproval. Even moreso, he seemed apprehensive of Skylor, glancing over at her as if expecting her to object to his being there - which was a valid fear, after all.

I allowed myself to be pulled by Roxy down the stairs and into the lobby. I still had the ball of water trailing in my hand, but I made it into mist and it drifted up and then dissipated. I noticed as Roxy finished hugging Yvain, how he glanced at me almost nervously. His thoughts drifted into my head, and I wished that he felt more comfortable around me. I didn't want to seem scary at all. I smiled slightly, something that I did often. "Of course you're welcome here Yvain." I said. "It's good to see you." It kind of sounded formal for me, but sometimes I acted formal when I was trying to get a point across.

Jake walked the streets his hands shoved in his jacket pockets his shaggy black hair was shoaked from the cold rain as it fell for the sky causing him to become very wet. Jake didn't like rain or water in the least but he put up with it. His silvery gray eyes were fixed on the ground avoiding the eyes of passing humans. Jake liked to go for long walks alone with his thoughts for almost hours on some days but he hated the constant feeling of paranoia he got when around humans. After beging hunted by them for the vast majority of his life Jake found it impossible to feel at ease around humans.

The familiar worn exterior of the hotel that he called home soon appeared in the distance. Jake started to jog wanting to get out of the growing storm. Arriving there he turned the handle to the door and entered the lobby. Since he had several powers on of whutch was mind reading he could tell by the thoughts he was getting who was already in the room. He glanced up and smiled weakly at Skyor, Roxy, and Yvain. He took off his coat and tossed in one on of the chairs and whiped some water from his face and hair before greeting group. "Hello." he said his voice held it's usual distant or cold tone in it. Jake wasn't very social but didn't want to seem mean to anyone either so instead of running off to his room he stayed in the lobby with them."How is every one today?" he asked trying to sound as interested as possible even though inside he didn't really care. Of course Skylor would no that anyway he tryed to put on the show for the other two.

Shaian - Nothing's really happened so far, or at least nothing major. :3
All of the Terlamaine's base point is the hotel. It's old and broken down from the outside, but they were able to get it up and running again. And none of the humans really notice it that it's like that on the inside. Skylor was on the roof but then came down to go into her room. She was being bored, but then Roxy came to the room. They were going to practice training, but as they did so, Yvain had come into the hotel. Roxy wanted to see Yvain, so they went downstairs to greet him. Then Jake just came in. Then outside of the hotel, Sam is just walking along the sidewalk, being a normal human (if you want you could talk to him...) and then Kayla, is at her house with her mom, watching TV.

Argh. I stink at recaps, and that just seemed like a lot of mumbo jumbo when I look at it now. xD
If you can't make sense out of the glob of words I just formed together in a sorry attempt of a recap, then maybe someone else can help? xD )

Aidan was bored and lonely. She thought that maybe if she went walking she might find someone. As she walked on the sidewalk she saw normal humans all around her. they fear what they don't understand. Why? she asked herself. Aidan has been tempted many times to show just one of them what they are missing. I wonder what their life is like? All they do is school, then work, then death. Whats the point? she wondered. Aidan kept walking till she saw Sam. She ran to catch up to him."Hey" she greeted when she finally got there.

My smile grew as I jumped in excitement, strands of red and chestnut hair falling in front of my face before I moved them behind my ear. “That’s great if you could get it Yvain! Well, you don’t have too. . .” The thought of getting a toolkit, especially a small one, made me think of taking more things apart and putting it back together, possibly making something new. Maybe I could even try taking the toaster apart . . .

I looked up hearing the door opening, seeing it was Jake who had came in. I had to admit, I didn’t see him often but that was probably due to the fact he was out or either in his room most of the time. “Yvain might be getting me a toolkit!” There wasn't much point in keeping this hushed up, there were two people readers here so there wasn't any point in trying. . . Then again I hadn't said anything aloud on what my plans for the toaster were and they were bound know.
