I really like SandxFire (Especially in the first series) but I dislike all the other ships, they're kinda dumb in my opinion.
Btw, SPOILERS BELOW
Spottedleaf's 2nd death is also very stupid
SHE DIED SO THAT FIRESTAR DIDN'T HAVE CHOSE BETWEEN A CHILDHOOD CRUSH AND THE MATE THAT HE HAS BEEN WITH FOR HIS WHOLE LIFE
(Actually, it was confirmed. By one of the Erins. Also, spoilers:)
And, I felt that it wasn't Spottedleaf's death that was stupid. It was the explanation for it that was stupid. They could have kiled her off so she could show that she approved of Firestar and Sandstorm because of how much she loved Firestar, and that she was happy to see her love so happy. But no, the Erins made a terrible decision for why instead. I legitimately can't see Firestar choose Spottedleaf over Sandstorm like that. He's too smart. Seeing him having trouble on who to choose was just so OOC... Yes, he loved Spottedleaf, but he would have gotten over her by then, right?
Also, the Erins made another terrible decision when they made Dovewing one of the three instead of Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf could have had the power to see and hear things from afar. Plus she deserved it more. Dovewing was always being whiney about it, saying she wanted to be normal and she was so immature. Hollyleaf would have cherished that gift. Dovewing is so ungrateful... That's why I don't really like her.
SPOILER!!
finally someone who thinks about her like me. i found her so annoying, right from the first time she appeared in the books...ugh.
hollyleaf was awesome. but noooo. dovewing is the third one. i mean WHY!!?
And she isn't even kin of his kin; she's kin of his kin of his kin or something like this. Hollyleaf was one of my favorites, to be honest... She died too soon after they brought her back in.

ugh YES. I have always thought that Dovewing was so annoying. She was constantly whining, and added a lot of extra trouble and drama into the three. But, I mean what's a book without drama.
But I so wish that Hollyleaf had been the third. She would've been so brave and proud to have her gift. I hate it that she didn't have one, and then
she had to go off and die like ugh why

Did you know that silverstream is related to bluestars kits? O.O I thought too much into the family trees
Yes, I knew that too. When Silverstream and Mistyfoot were revealed as best friends, I was like "Dude, you're cousins." Of course, Oakheart and Crookedstar may not have been established as brothers yet back then, so I guess that's why it wasn't brought up.

About the hollyleaf and dovewing topic...
SPOILERS FOR SUNRISE ONWARDS
No, I never did like Dovewing, but I did like Ivypool. A lot. I suppose that's the good thing that came out of the fourth arc -- it gave more of a chance for an insight into the dark forest and their intentions, giving more clarity to the reader by giving it from Ivypool's point of view, whereas the Three didn't know a whole lot about it (well, aside from Jayfeather's spying), which wasn't a bad thing in my opinion.
I actually agree, though, that Lionblaze's power was a bit ... Off. It seemed a bit too easy to think of, and it was a bit boring to read, to put it bluntly. I'm surprised nobody clocked that he never had wounds before they found out about his power and the prophecy. I never really looked forwards to reading his chapters like I did Jayfeather's and Hollyleaf's, and admittedly I enjoyed reading Dovewing's more than Lionblaze's.
SPOILER END
And, I've also finished reading all the Warriors Short stories (I got all of them in paperback form for my birthday). I must say, I was a mess by the end of Ravenpaw's farewell. But from here on in...
SPOILERS FOR RAVENPAW'S FAREWELL, GOOSEFEATHER'S CURSE, MAPLESHADE'S VENGEANCE & CLOUDSTAR'S JOURNEY
Those were all the books that I enjoyed most out of the nine short stories so far. Okay, let's start with Ravenpaw's farewell. I'm pretty sure that Raven x Barley is canon judging by several lines in the book, for a start, and that was what made me love it! Also, it was a pretty good idea; I was mainly sad that Ravenpaw might have been able to have the painful spot in his belly remedied if he had just said something, and the fact that he never got to see his home again. I'm actually surprised at how hard it hit me at the end of the book, and it really was not a disappointment!
Next, Goosefeather's Curse. I was surprised by how much I really sympathised with Goosefeather by the end of it; he really did not deserve to have the 'gift' and it could never amount to any real purpose anyway, if he could not tell anyone about it. Of course, he could mask them as vision from StarClan (which they are, in reality), but in the case of Pinestar, I can't imagine how that would feel to know something like that would happen and he could not tell anyone about it -- not even Pinestar himself. It was quite powerful for me, since I genuinely disliked Goosefeather before, but I'm thinking of going back and rereading Bluestar's Prophecy a few times just to see if Goosefeather's parts make more sense.
Third, Mapleshade's Vengeance...this was a little bit of a mixed bag for me. I liked the concept of it and how it expanded Mapleshade's history a little more, and I can see why she was driven mad, in a way, but I found her a little too self-assured. Was it just me, or were the Clans a LOT harsher then? I mean, think about what happened with Graystripe and Silverstream; the concequences of such were not seeing him cast out, but instead he left anyway ( don't get me wrong, I do like that pairing and I do like Graystripe, but in a way they were caught in a similar situation ). Plus, I don't see why Ravenwing had to die, either. I can see that she was driven mad with grief, but Ravenwing literally did nothing but give a sign to their leader. Also, did her kits really tell her to kill them, or was it a figment of her imagination? I'm assuming it's the latter, but if anyone could help clarify that would be great.
And finally, Cloudstar's Journey: I really enjoyed this one! I didn't think I was going to at all and I was dreading reading it because I never was interested in the whole background of SkyClan, but I actually loved it! It sounds morbid since it was literally about the cats' territory being cut off and them essentially starving from the lack of prey, but it was interesting to see what happened and how Cloudstar handled it. I didn't like Cloudstar before this book to be honest, and he's risen to one of my top ten favourite cats; it just made me hold a little more respect that he only wanted what was best for his Clan, nothing else. Hell, he even left his own mate behind to find a new territory for the Clan; and although he lost his faith in StarClan, it was rightfully so. Tradition always had Five Clans, and StarClan had told him just moons before that they were proud of him, of SkyClan, essentially saying everything was going to alright...I can honestly relate to Cloudstar and that is why I like him as I do now.
SPOILER END
sorry for the long post!! i hadn't posted something on here for some time so I wanted to give my thoughts on certain subjects / books ^^
