After much consideration, I'm keeping this kiddo (and I do mean much consideration - it hasn't been very long at all since I put her up for trades, but I've had a good bit of time to think about this). I apologize for putting her up for trade and then changing my mind - I didn't mean to dangle her under your noses, and in apology, I'll be giving a pet/pets to those who sent me offers.

On a lighter note, I'm looking for name suggestions for her! I'd like a name meaning water, ocean, sea, or something similar, and it can't sound too similar to Cai, Elie, or Lux. I'd really prefer that it didn't start with C, since two of my other Kalons' names do. (My first name choice was Kailani, meaning "sky and sea," but then I realized that it would cause confusion to have two names starting with a 'cai' sound.)

I do have a bit of her personality down - she's an ambitious investigative reporter in a small but bustling vacation town who's always trying to be the first to a breaking story. She's precise, efficient, and tireless when it comes to her job, but in everything else, she's quite scatterbrained and disorganized. Her close vision is awful, so when she's writing, she'll wear reading glasses. She's mindlessly placed them down and then lost them so often that her coworkers put a strap on them so that they didn't have to help her search for them yet again.

She'll be open to friends and whatnot once I put her on the main lines (with her hair down, too! She only puts it up when she's working).

Okay so I do realize there's been only five posts since I last posted whOOPS but this'll be quick-ish I promise

First of all, Smol Kenma did this beautiful sketch of Caius and I love every bit of it <3

Secondly, I've got some name announcements for two of my kiddos!
My newest Kalon, who was previously unnamed, is now named Venilia, meaning "of the sea and winds." Most people just call her Veni, though she's been teasingly called Venti more than a few times. Veni's replaced the name plaque on her desk with a sign that reads "Veni, vidi, vici," and as of yet no one's told her to change it back.

Elie's full name is now Elliot. It used to be Caelia, but that name was causing problems - it was too similar to Caius' name (and now Venilia's), it was somewhat difficult to pronounce, and it didn't fit her personality all that well. Her new full name means "bravely and truly," which fits her a lot better, I think. She'll still be nicknamed Elie!

alright guys I'm back with a little more about August!!

His full name is August Suralius Matthews. He is a life guard during the summer and during the rest of the year he is a food critic as well as a wine taster. He's super stuck up and a bit of a snob but he wouldn't hurt a fly even if it bit him. He's not the most social person but is very good at putting on a brave face and has a secret love for all things knitted.
