"Azusa! Help me..." He whimpered softly as the infected ones came to him and noted how his legs didn't work, before moving to try and take his boots off to get to the flesh
Looking back he moaned and tried to shake them, but his legs did not move

He was twitching now, torn between running and rushing forward to kick that thing's ass.
In his own way, of course.
Those things were known to be cannibalistic... If they could even be considered humans.
Watching that thing eye Kris like he was a meal was the last straw.
The deer strode in casually whilst completely ignoring the menacing 'people', striding as if he were simply walking down the street, stopping when he got a bit closer to the one looking to eat Kris.
And then he pretty much launched himself at the creature, and began his 'fighting' routine of scratching, biting, and kicking wher ever the hell he could reach. It may not be the most dignified way, but it was often pretty effective, as he mostly aimed for the neck and... More sensitive parts of the person who happened to be so unlucky.

"Shshshsh." The halfling hushed, reaching to clamp a hand over her mouth.
"They'll hear youuuuu~" He singsonged quietly, closing his eyes.
As if to add to the creepiness, Tourette began to rock back and forth slowly, humming a rather menacing sounding song.

Nico looked at the water again, not trusting this guy one bit. But seeing as Yersinia had sunk far below his line sight there wasn't anything he could watch over... "Fine. I'll leave... Doctor's orders..." That 4th wall break though X3 He growled getting to his feet and shifting to wolf form. He needed to mend his wounds. With one last look at Mick and the lake, Nico slowly made his way up the hill to go home...

"No. All I can smell is energy and fear." Tazui chuckled. "Which means I will live!" Her head shot in different directions, as she smelled the air, trying to get a good wiff of where that energy was coming from. "Smells like a short person, with a hint of doe...? I picked up a male's scent... There's another male too, and they're surrounded by 5 creatures..."

He watched the two that went after Azusa and the others that backed away with him, and couldn't help but feel sorry for the things. The two fought him while the remainder went for the shoes again

One was hard enough, but two was just downright annoying.
Still, he continued his harsh assaulting of clawing, kicking and biting, managing to scratch up one's face pretty badly, whilst having kneed the other one in a rather sensitive place. They kept coming back, but so did Azusa. It was just as painful for him pm though, as it was two the two infected, as they managed to bite him quite a few times, leaving good sized bleeding bite marks along his arms and lower neck.
Eventually, they kind of shied away once they realized that this man was not going to stop even if the tried to eat him alive.
Swearing softly, he turned to face Kris- keeping wary of the other creatures, of course.
No way in hell did he want more pain inflicted upon him, so he just stayed put for the most part unless they really started to get to Kris.

He couldn't trust a word the guy said and yet he had allowed him to convince him to push Yersinia into a lake. What if he never saw him again. What if this was a set up for his so called 'revenge?' He'd never know until the time came. In his slumber, Nico found himself rubbing his cheek, much like Yersinia use to...

Wait... or was the timeskip here??? XD)) Lily stretched, a puppy like yawn escaping her mouth before she blinked her green eyes open. When she did, her face flushed scarlet before backing away, out of Tacet's grasp. They had been so close for absolutely no reason. And it was worse that she was actually comfortable! Lily sat up and crawled to the river, splashing the water in her face to wash off the embarrassment. But that wasn't enough. She had to wash everything. Odd girl. She stripped out of her clothing, folding it beside the riverbed before stepping into the cold water. She shivered at the temperature but eventually took comfort in it. She lowered herself until only her nose and head was above water and sighed out bubbles. I'm ok, you're ok Lily...
