Things were relatively uneventful until a lanky cat slipped out of nowhere. They began to chat with the leader
as the rest of the group tried to figure out where they came from. More cats started to appear, as if they had
been there the entire time. They all seemed friendly enough...until a little hazard sneezed. The tall cats were
so startled that they burst into flames!

Fire Hazards stand at an almost exact 4 feet 3 inches. Their slender legs end in large, somewhat goofy looking paws, but they're nessisary for grip. They can boast being the fastest of the hazard species, running up to 80 miles per hour. Thanks to their big paws, strong claws, and uninterrupted beam of energy in their tails, they're able to make sharp turns and maneuver well at such speeds. Their fur is sleek, but very greasy since their skin secrets a flammable substance that keeps their fur oily and burns on command. Fires' third eye powers always have something to do with the element of fire, which they use to set themselves ablaze. Their tough skin is immune to any burns, so this doesn't hurt them. Flames tend to be colored differently cat to cat. This display is used to aid in attacks and frighten off predators, but also works to blow off steam or greet friends as well. As if they needed another defense, the have a bundle of sharp quills near their tail that can be shot at attackers. They also have an abundance of whiskers. Their grates are only known to produce steam, but they show quite a bit of variation on their screens. Fire Hazards are strictly carnivorous, shunning the thought of omnivorous or herbivorous diets. There isn't a large amount of this subspecies since they hardly ever seem to have two, much less three or four, children. The chances of fires' having a fourth child is only a measly 5%.
