Piper nodded but didn't move. For a brief moment she had forgotten exactly where she was going. She stood there shaking, feeling like a failure before remembering her map. She shakily reached into her backpack pocket and pulled out the large map, drawn in ways only the red head could understand. Finally she began to take a step forward but, unfortunately tripped over herself, finding herself falling straight towards the river.

"But Azu left me remember? One person dies and Azu leaves me. Now he's leaving me again..." Tyler said, referring to the last time he ever say Azusa before today. Hearing that Azusa quit after that really hurt him and at nights he'd laugh to himself, believing that it was all a dream. That his toy would come back and play with him. But he never did. "I love Azu... but... I guess I can't anymore huh?" He said sadly.

London finished his sandwich just as Chess began to pack their stuff. "Ah, you're just trying to rush so I can snuggle you huh?" He smiled, kissing his second before standing. "But you're right. Let's get to it." He added, holding out a hand to help him up.

The scientist heaved a shuddering sigh and hung his head. "You... You looked so happy about it... Killing someone and being drenched in their blood... It's scary, y'know! You lok so crazed... It's scary..." He whimpered, letting his back rest against the door. Azusa looked sharply to the side at his remark above loving him. "It always sounds so hollow when you say it..." The man grumbled, "Nothing's stopping you... But I don't know if I want to..." Referring to being loved by Tyler. By a murderer. A manipulator. But he couldn't help miss the times where he would cuddle up next to Faye and relax... Even if that comfort would often be shattered at the slightest mistake.

Chess shrugged and averted his gaze, "Maybe..." he said playfully, reaching out to grab London's large hand. Once pulled up, he smiled and leaned on his tippy toes to place a kiss on the other's lips, then proceeded to bend over to gather the picnic things in his arms. Chess hooked his free hand into London's and gave a small smile. "Thank you for the picnic. I really enjoyed it."

she walked up to joel "J-Joel?" she repeated quietly before looking at him and sliding up next to him. "Please don't kill me but I had to let Azusa out... but we need to keep an eye on him."

"Watch out!!" Emma shouted as Piper tripped. Her right hand shot forward, snatching the little handle on Piper's backpack and she yanked the girl back away from the water, falling forward in the process. She landed on her hands and knees a few inches into the water. She sat back on her knees and wiped her hands off on her pants. "Are you okay?" She asked, calling back to Piper. She looked back at her, her green eyes sparkling with concern.

It all happened so fast that Piper didn't process it. One minute she was falling and the next.... "Huh? O-Oh yes. I-I'm fine..." She told Emma after finally snapping back to reality. She looked at the girl on her knees and felt bad. "I am so so sorry. You shouldn't have done that, really. I'm such a clutz. You shouldn't suffer for my stupidity." She said frantically. She really hoped no one got hurt.

Tyler glanced behind him and glared at the blonde's back. "So you don't believe me huh? Just like everyone else." He growled standing up to go to where his back was turned. He reached around through the cell bars and embraced him tightly. "I thought you'd always believe me. You were different from everyone else. You say nothing's stopping me but these walls are stopping me Azusa." He said. But the next words made his grip slacken. "You don't want to?" He said, his voice wavering as if on the verge of tears. He scooted away from the figure behind the bars and looked down. "T-Then why are you s-still here? Leave."

London smiled and gave Chess's hand a squeeze. "I did too. Maybe we can do something like this again sometime." He offered, beginning to head back to the compounds. He really did enjoy this time with Chess, never feeling this happy in his life. But there was something in his mind. A part of him that didn't approve of any of this. But what was it?

He gulped and tensed at the embrace. But he didn't move away. "I- well... It's kinda hard to get- for me especially... You taught me to believe you, and a part of me always did. You taught me to love you. And I di- do. I miss being close to you and sleeping next to you... Kissing you..." The scientist said softly, turning so that he was facing the bars, looking up sadly at Tyler. "But it's scary. I don't know if you're gonna hit me or lie to me or... Worse... And... I was taught to believe you... But you lie. It's hard to believe if you know something is a lie. Being unpredictable is not doing anything wrong... But the things you do..." He gulped hard, shutting his eyes tight. He'd just spoken what had been kept for the longest time... And instead of feeling relieved, he just felt more anxiety.

He paused his long strides and head jolted up to look at Maggie. After hearing her little statement, Joel began oddly... Twitching. "You... It's a PUNISHMENT, MAGS!" The man groaned, tossing his head back. Heaving a sigh, he tucked some blueprints of buildings he was holding into his coat. "What do you mean keep an eye on him?" He inquired, raising an eyebrow. The founder began to walk his previous path again, but glanced back at Maggie to make sure she followed.

"Him and Tyler isn't a good idea. Tyler manipulates. Believe me, he tried to do it to me. And now he is going after Azusa- who already loved Tyler in his strange twisted way. He tried to get this from me-" she held up the key card - "from me to let Tyler out. So we need to keep him out of there and away from Faye." Her body was slumped over with little confidence and she looked down and away from him sheepishly. "Sorry... I should be telling you what to do..."

He said, eye twitching in the slightest.

"But they do matter! What a person does and is like is what should make someone love them," He protested, pulling his legs close to his chest. "I... I'm not broken so much as you are. If you want me to love you, then be someone worth it." His last words may have seemed a bit harsh, but he was only speaking the truth. "Please... I want to be close to you again... Sleep next to you and kiss you... But I don't want to be doing it because it's what I learned... Or be scared for my health while I do it," This was probably the most bold he'd ever spoken to Tyler... And he was scared of how the prisoner would react.

"He- Faye- I'm going to murder Monarch." Joel said darkly, hand drifting to the pocket where he always kept a small gun- only a few shots, but it was intimidating nonetheless. "Tsk... Whatever... They can do what they want... Azusa knows better than to betray us. Me. But if worse comes to worse, screw what the director says... I'm shooting both those bastards in the damn head." He hisses, eyes narrowing. "Now get me the designs that Monarch destroyed... I wanna make a finalized version now." The founder was merely trying to distract himself, though.
