Scout sighed. "We might want to leave before someone catches us, not like they would dare get close to me." He bared his teeth in drama.

[Lavellan]

Lyric shouldered him, laughing. "Noo, no one will come near the scary guard dog. But what about the poor pretty shepherd" She looked at him with puppy dog eyes, batting her eyelashes. She poked her head out under the door, looking around. Then something dawned on her. "Wait, we both have collars, right? Then we don't have to run! People will think that we have owners! If we walk confidently, no one will notice us!"

Scout was skeptical. "Ok, listen Lyric. It might be normal for you to walk down the street. But I can't. I'm too big of a dog, and haven't other dogs told you to stay away from my breed?!" He looked a little hurt but motioned at himself, taking up 1/2 the carpet.

[waggy]

((No, Lyric is just taking her sweet time bringing him back to camp! xD))

Lyric looked at him, sadness in her eyes. "My mother told me to stay away from dogs like you, but she also told me to always obey my humans and never to go outside in the rain." She looked at him. "My mother never had to live on the streets, she never knew dogs like you. If you do your show dog prance, people will look but they'll assume that you're a fancy pup. Don't worry, Scout. Anyway, I've seen dogs bigger than you. Have you ever met a wolfhound? They're like horses!" She looked at him again, hoping that she had made him feel a little better.

Scout brightened. "Ok, but we're gonna get looks of terrified people." He trotted out into the open, prancing, and golden collar swinging.

[Lavellan]

Lyric smiled. He was definitely good at this. "C'mon" she barked softly, passing him by. "Camp is this way." She trotted along, head up.

"Right behind ya." Scout smiled, dodging people. He trotted next to Lyrjc, unnoticed by most people. "Where?"

[Lavellan]

Lyric trotted down alleyways and side-streets, ducking and dodging as she needed to. "We're almost there!" She called, zipping through an alley and under a wall. Soon they were on the outskirts of the streets. "Through here!" Lyric chirped, ducking through a hole in a wall. Padding into camp, she barked. "Anyone around?" She called, wondering if her Alpha or any other pack members were home. "Home sweet home!" She said to Scout, smiling and wagging her tail.

Scout lifted his muzzle. "Nice enough. Now, have you had any trouble with rogues? You will."
