    you make one of your villagers a herbalist so you can plant them C:
    then when they are harvested your doctor uses them to make cures.

Kinda tough to answer that. I think it depends on what kind of item it is. You might check the sellback price but that's pretty much only accurate for raw materials.

While the forums are still down, let's talk tips and tricks! Anything you guys learned about the site's inner workings that you're willing to share? How do you effectively make the most of each career? What should folks be focusing on earning?

And for those with any variety of 'crafter' villagers, which materials do you need most? Which items should we be holding back from auto-selling?

At the moment, I'm just stalking the stalls and buying stuff that has been priced below the autosell (sell back) price. Trying to save for another villager slot so I can get a doctor, I already have an explorer and herbalist c:

Thanks, sadly the link isn't working for me as the shop is 'invalid'.
Edit/ found it, apparently linking to shops doesn't work :c

I have a question, if you go to the medicine shop and buy a recipe, are you buying the product or the knowledge of how to make it?

Yeah. I do like that we have to rely on other players to be successful (it's kind of a mixed bag feature, though) but it's hard to really take advantage of it yet. I have hopes that once the economy has settled and most of the playerbase have a variety of careers, relying on each other will be easier.

Edit: Oh wow. I didn't know linking to a shop page wouldn't work. Sorry about that, Mortveil. I'm glad you found it, though. :)
