My mother was smart enough to get me and Sagekit out before we where attacked. But she found out she was infected and abandoned us in the twolegplace. I watched a dog kill my brother." Sorrelpaw whispers and flattened her ears, staring at the ground in front of her. "No one knew it was out leader who was killing everyone until he attacked the medicine cat."

After being tackled by her brother, she pushed him off and cuffed him over the ear. She noticed the other apprentices talking and curiously padded over, keeping her distance. She felt a little uncomfortable after what overhearing the discussion. It made her think of her own past, and she didn't want to intrude on their conversation since it seemed private.
