Blaze flinched. Paw. "Yeah," she agreed quietly. She, though she still liked Paw, thought of her as the cat who 'stole' Minkpaw.

Minkpaw
Minkpaw grabbed his mouse and trotted back to where they separated from the she-cat to find her already waiting for them. He waved his tail in greeting before gesturing towards the direction of camp with a jerk of his head to tell her they should all get back.

Icepaw
Icepaw stuck her tongue out at the tom, as she often did whenever he frustrated or teased her, before giving a smile to show that she had no real hard feelings. She happily trotted alongside Gingerface once again as they moved on.

Minkpaw
Minkpaw gave a muffled response of thanks as he held his catch in his mouth.

"How old are you Icepaw?" Gingerface asked, blushing slightly.

Blaze started to head back to camp, still thinking.

Icepaw
Icepaw gave a small shrug. She had honestly stopped counting once she became an apprentice. "Maybe...Ten moons?" She guessed. It wasn't quite an honest guess, considering that she was more likely only about eight moons, but she was afraid that if she gave a lower answer Gingerface would look down on her. Or worse, never take any interest in her romantically because of their age difference.

"Oh, 3 moons apart. Not much of a difference!" Gingerface meowed excitedly, almost too excitedly. He smiled as he stared forward. The mountains seemed so close.. but they still had about 9 sunrises to go.

Paw dug up the mouse, and followed Blaze, the mouse in her mouth.

(im fine with a timeskip. i cant remember when she was made but i went back and looked and she became an apprentice at about page 135. so if she was six moons at that time, you could do the math from that maybe)

Icepaw grinned at his enthusiasm, taking it as a good sign. "I'm glad we aren't too far apart in age." She purred, tail flicking to the side to lighty brush against Gingerface's pelt for a moment. She followed his gaze to the mountains with a happy look about her.

Gingerface pressed against Icepaw. "We're almost there." He whispered half to himself. "Once we get out of the twolegplace, we'll stop and rest." He said a little louder.
