Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye (G1 RP, Open!)

[Amethyst The Gem]

(OK. All my characters are open. Keita is sitting outside the Autobot base, Jazz is inside somewhere, and Emma is in a room the Autobots allow her to live in.)

[Saberius Prime]

(Okay. I'll have Optimus be checking up on things on Teletran. Jazz can bump into him. Timewarp will have just landed.)

Timewarp

In the Hollywood Hills, it was piece and quiet. Until a bright white light entered the atmosphere. A massive rock-like object crashed into ground, lighting trees, and grass on fire. A few seconds later, the rock began to whir and hiss, splitting apart revealing wires, and gears as it transformed into a robot. The robot's blue optics glowed brightly in the darkness of the night. Quickly running from the area, the robot found a shed with three cars inside. Each one nearly identical. Scanning the first one in the line, the robot's body began to shift and rearrange as silver armor formed onto the body. With a loud mechanical sound, the robot transformed into the car it scanned, racing away into the night.

Optimus Prime

Optimus stood at Teletran's computer, venting air from his hydraulics with worry. The Decepticons had been unusually quiet lately, and Optimus knew they weren't simply resting. No..they were plotting they're next move. A blink on the radar of Teletran went off.

"Hmm..." He placed a digit to his comm. "Jazz, report in."

[Amethyst The Gem]

(Mkay.)

Jazz

Jazz received the message as he was walking down the halls of The Ark. He turned down a hallway and found himself in the room housing Telatran 1, their main computer system. "I'm right here, Prime." He said,walking up to the Autobot leader. "And so far there's nothing to report. The Decepticons have been quieter than a mouse. It just ain't like them."

(sorry if I failed at Jazz's speech, I tried.)

[Saberius Prime]

(Gem...that was perfect. You did your best. That's all that matters.)

Optimus Prime

Optimus sighed.

"Quite right, Jazz...but we must be ever vigilant. I just know Megatron is up to something. I can feel it in my spark. Anyways. I have a mission for you, Jazz."

Teletran One popped out a small data disk in front of Optimus.

"Teletran picked up a Cybertronian signature entering Earth's atmosphere approximately five Earth minutes ago. I need you to investigate the landing zone."

He handed the disk to Jazz.

"This has the coordinates of the signature's last location. Good luck, Jazz."

Jazz

"I'm on it, Prime." Jazz took the data disk and transformed, glad to be going out on a mission. He sped out of headquarters, driving towards the coordinates Prime had given him. it took him about ten minutes to reach his destination. Transforming back to robot mode, he searched the area. "That's strange, I don't see anybody. Maybe Prime gave me the wrong-" Jazz cut himself off, noticing something odd that looked like a rock. "now, what's this?" Jazz examined the rock for any signs of life. On the other side was a shed off in the distance. "Maybe whatever Prime found went that way." Jazz transformed again and headed for the shed. "Hey, this ain't nothing but a movie set." He said in disappointment upon arrival. "I guess I was wrong. I'll have to tell Prime I couldn't find anything." Jazz started back towards The Ark, when something caught his eye. one of the movie cars, driving along the street, without a driver! "Found ya." Jazz said to himself, following the car. "Hey man, who are you?" He called out after a few moments.

[Saberius Prime]

(Who isn't? He's is literally the coolest Autobot in town.)

Timewarp

Timewarp was shocked. He wasn't expecting to find any Cybertronians, let alone an Autobot. He replied in Cybertronian which was just a mix of whirs and clicks.

"Designation: Timewarp. Faction: Autobot. What is your designation?"

Timewarp pulled off to the side of the road, and turned around to face the Porsche. With a mechanical whir and a clank, Timewarp transformed, and stood up.

"What language are you speaking? It is not Cybertronian."

Jazz

Jazz transformed as well, facing his fellow Autobot. he grinned, relishing the sound of his native language. "My name is Jazz. The language I'm speaking is called English. It's one of the languages spoken on this planet." He responded in Cybertronian, so that Timewarp could understand him. "Would you like to come with me back to our headquarters?" Jazz asked.

[Neon sparks]

(strike and landslide are both open)

[Saberius Prime]

(Last post for the night, then off to bed.)

Timewarp

Timewarp nodded.

"Lead the way."

He transformed back into his alt. mode, starting his engine, and turning on his headlights.

Jazz

Jazz transformed as well, revving his engine and speeding off towards Autobot headquarters. "It's just a little bit farther." He called back to Timewarp after a few minutes of driving in silence. Pulling up to The Ark, Jazz transformed back to robot mode and motioned for Timewarp to follow him down the corridors to the main computer room. "I'm back, Prime." Jazz announced, "And I found the Cybertronian our scanners detected. His name is Timewarp."
