ExtraHistory
Teke came to Triple Turn Acres as a rescue from an irresponsible backyard breeder. She was obviously bred for color and not for pedigree or showing prestige. However, the backyard breeder was sensible enough to get mares and stallions with decent conformation. Teke was rescued with a group of twenty horses that were malnourished and neglected. There was no care or room for the horses whatsoever. Thankfully, she was rescued as a yearling, so she doesn't have a terrible memory like the others do. Now, she is three years old, has started training, and is doing wonderful. You would never guess that she was once mistreated in such a manner.
Personality
Teke is a very sensible horse. She knows what is right and what is wrong. Also, with her gentle nature and caring attitude, she is amazing with children. However, when she doesn't like something, she isn't afraid to tell you and get her way.
Discipline
Teke is in training to be a low level all around competition horse. She will be mainly used for children and may become a part-time lesson horse. With her sensible and caring attitude and gentle nature, she is best suited for children's 4-H shows.
