"Sounds good." Rainpaw shrugged. "Whatever you want as long as its not going exploring in a fox den or something."

Sorrel had a completely blank face. "Then why haven't I seen or smelled you until now?" He didn't go out, but his mother did, and she would tell him if she found loners near the den.

Patchpaw glanced over at Dewpaw, his eyes hazy. He smiled at the tom and rolled on his back, purring loudly.

"Why did you leave?" Sorrel asked. His respect for these cats had dropped down to nothing. Why would he have respect for a bunch of bumbling idiots that hurt their own kits?
