APH Roleplay (Hetalia Club Members)

Hungary glanced over at Prussia as well and her voice grew into a whisper. "It's going to be by tradition. Of course, I told him the process of the entire thing- like how it's going to have to be made- but he doesn't even have a clue on what it will look like." She then thought for a little bit, becoming silent. "Well... I know I'm 160 centimeters, but that's about it. I really don't keep track of those types of things, since they never seem to be any use half the time." She gave a small shrug. Looked like Finland would be taking her measurements. Oh well~.

(((I checked the Hetalia Wikia and 160 centimeters was listed as Hungary's height. She's only 5' 3''. XD She just seems so short to me~...)))

I always picture everyone taller than their real heights...))
((And apparently, Prussia's 5'9" and Finny's 5'6" 1/2.))

Finland nodded, trying to think. "160... Okay. I think I can figure out approiximates without your other measurements. I've also got a tape measure with me, if you wanted to get it over with later." He led them to a small bizarre, with a cloth shop just beyond that. "That's where we're going. Just get me an idea of what you're wanting. Oh, are we making the clothes besides your dress too?"

(((So I'm taller than Hungary, about as tall as Finland, and not as tall as Prussia. XD Odd heights~)))

Hungary shook her head, but increased her pace a little bit. "Prussia will either be buying his own tuxedo or at least buying the materials. He hasn't decided yet. But either way, I have a good feeling it's going to end up looking like any other tux because he's just too lazy to do anthing else." She soon arrived at the shop and stepped inside, giving a small gasp at the amount of clothes.

((I'm 5'8". So... Slightly shorter than Prussia, way taller than Hungary, and a little taller than Finland.))

Finland gave a little, understanding nod. "About what I expected, no offense. Though what about bridesmaids, if any? Did you want those made by us too?" The Finn stepped inside, sighing with relief as the chilly feeling fled from his body. "Alright, this way, Elizabeta! Gilbert, you go... Um, do something else?" Shrugging, he lightly snatched her wrist and tugged her toward the direction of the desired cloth.

Prussia blinked blankly at Finland for a moment before shrugging to himself and retreating to the other end of the store. Yeah, he probably WOULD just end up buying/renting a tux or something. Well, hey, it's not like there was an easy way to personalize that. Dresses were completely different. And, well, he did have a tendancy to be a bit lazy at times.

Hungary made a slight noise, then gave a small laugh. "Well... I actually expected Poland to become one, and possibly drag Lithuania into it or something like that... I really don't have any friends that are girls." She laughed a bit awkwardly once more. before looking around as they arrived to the area. She suddenly grinned and spun around in a circle as she looked around. "Wow! Look how many cloths are there!" She hobbled over to one area on her crutches. She reached out, feeing one of the cloths. It was so silky! She giggled before pulling a little bit out. Yes, it was definately nice. She put it back then moved onto another.

Finland gave a small laugh, at both her antics and her words of Poland and Lithuania. Yes, he could definately see Feliks dragging Toris into something like that... "Well, hey, as nations we don't have much of a choice, since most of us right now are men." Come to think of it, a heterosexual couple was very hard to establish between two nations, wasn't it? Ah well. "Ah, okay. So, first- what materials were you thinking of? I'm open to suggestion, and have my own little advice as well, if you'd like."

Hungary gave a nod before finally pulling away from the various cloths she had been messing with. "I'd like something silky. You know, to keep the feel of a wedding dress. Also it might be nice is it had some sort of lace-like design on it, but it wasn't true lace." She looked around for an example. She eventually found one and pulled out a little bit of it, showing it to Finland. She pointed at the lace-like design, tracing her fingers along it. "See? Sort of like this. It doesn't have to be exact, but sort of close to it. Should we pick this cloth for a choice?"

Finland examined the cloth she was holding and nodded with a smile. "I think that would work fine. Just nothing too cheap. I don't want you getting broke from this, but some cloth just isn't fit for what we're looking for." So, they had type of cloth down. Check. "Okay, how about accessories? Do you want any kind of beading or flowers on it? Perhaps sticking out somewhere? And to you plan on wearing a veil?" So much planning went into all of this...

Hungary gave a smile, quite excited. "I was actually thinking abou getting light blue tulips into it. Tulips are, of course, my country's national flower, so having them in there would make me happy. Maybe lining them along the bottom of the dress, then along the sides and bottom of the veil. And I want slim veil- nothing too poofy because then I'll look like an idiot." She laughed a little, then looked up slightly as she thought. Yes... The dress she was creating in her head definately looked gorgeous. Now if they could just make it.

Finland couldn't help but smile a little. She just seemed so genuinely happy about all of this. 'Twas truly an occasion to be celebrated, and if they could make this dress, no doubt she would be incredibly grateful. "Sounds lovely to me. Alright, let's see, what else... Oh!" He snapped his fingers. "What shade are we going for? I would definately stay away from any peaches or yellows. They don't match your skin tone at all. Would you be more swayed toward white or ivory?" He was a bit fond of the white, but he would leave this up to her.
