Meldoy needed to move around or do something. Her legs had gone to sleep and her back was stiff from being stretched out too long. Tucking her legs under her, Melody rose gracefully and slithered into the shadows silently.

Now alone in the forest Melody started to do something she hardly ever did, Daydream. She pictured herself racing through the trees with mist dancing around her paws and the moon glowing in a starry sky. She closed her eyes to keep the image with her. She gave a depressed sigh when she opened her eyes and returned to the present time. Oh how Melody wished she could live in such a place.

Richiet's searching soon led him to a rabbit. The scent of wolf reeked and it stung the poor coyote's nose. Trying to put the smell behind him, Richiet concentrated on the rabbit in front if him. With a readied leap he sprang for it, and missed. The wind had changed and the rabbit had just bounded out of reach and Richiet landed in a sprawled heap on the ground. With a groan he pulled himself up and dragged his way back to his den, senses full alert for wolf or anything that might have seen his little fail.

Lythius pushed Aastra along, coming out of his den. He had to find someone that would help. He glanced around and howled, calling out to any wolves in the area, even the loners.

Fallng snow, rising mist, a glowing moon and an eerie silence. That was where Melody wanted to be. She looked sadly down upon a broken stick and tossed it away from her with a paw. She tried to picture herself again in this quiet scene but no longer had she been enjoying herself when a howl broke through her reverie. Pulled back to the dreaded surface once again she looked behind her and realized how close she was to where she had started. Melody laughed quietly to herself as she imagined herself walking in circles with her head in the clouds. The image was stuck in her head and she couldn't erase it, she didn't want to. Still smiling slightly, a very airy Melody made her way back to where she had left wandering what on Earh could be so important it couldn't wait until tomorrow.

A still pride-stung Richiet was asleep. His dreams were crowded and didn't make sense. He watched old memories he wanted to keep forever past through and other memories he wish to forget make quite an appearance. He had this same type of dream everytime and everytime it was the same memories. This time differently though as an earsplitting howl woke Richiet from his dreams and left him entirely confused and disorientated for a few seconds. "Wolves" He muttered angrily to himself. He wandered what the fuss was all about. Even though he knew the old saying "Curiosity killed the cat" he still pulled himself out of his den and crept as close as he dared to eavesdrop. After all he wasn't a cat he was a coyote. Curiosity surely couldn't kill him. Could it?

Lythius frowned as he saw no wolves emerge from the trees. He howled again, this one piercing his own ears. "Come on, come on." He muttered after he'd finished, pacing in a circle.

[Special!]

"Keep your fur on!" Melody growled out to Lythius as she amerged from the trees. She shook her head and rolled her eyes. *So impatient!* She thought to herself as she came closer.

Richiet clawed at his ears as the second howl pierced through the forest. *Sheesh! Anyone would think the world is ending* He thought bitterly to himself. He wriggles closer on his belly and hid in an even closer bush. Now he could actually see the wolves.

"Oh thank goodness." Lythius gasped, his tail whipping around behind him. "Raiders. They invade tomorrow morning." He said, stopping his pacing and staring at Melody seriosuly.

Aastra watch the older wolves speak she knew she would get her tail bit of if she went but curiosity got the better before thinking she blurted out "can I help?" both wolves looked at her she stared at them steadily

"Um no" Melody said as kindly as she could possibly manage. She turned he attention to Lythius and frowned. "Raiders?! Tomorrow morning?!" Her whole body quivered with anger and her eyes glinted with fury. "I will rip their throats out!!!!" Melody said darkly.

even if they wouldnt let her go she would follow secretly she was detrmend to fight the raiders "wel you carnt find them unless i go with you"

"Melody, we can't rush into things. We need a plan, a good one too. And we cannot just..rip their throats out. No matter how much we would like to." He said, trying to calm her. "I'm sorry, Aastra. But you can't come, we'll follow your scent form here to the raiders. Everything will be planned and we can't just stop everything to save you every two seconds, okay?" Lythius said facing the pup and frowning.
