Tinykit honestly didn't see the difference between 'mother' and 'one who gives food'. He was too youg to process the idea that they could mean different things. He reached up with one of his paws towards Mallowpaw as he repeated, "Mama."

Sparrow hesitated, wondering how much she should give away. If she told the cat who she was, Wildflight might finally find her! Though, that could also be a really bad thing... She shook her head, pulling on a confused expression. Besides, she wouldn't be lying if she didn't say anything, right?

Patchpaw gave a short laugh. "Nice topic," he said sarcastically. "You might as well have asked me about the weather." He was playfully joking with the apprentice, hoping that it would lift his spirits.

Narrowing her hetericromic eyes, " Well you shouldn't be. Now off you go. I take it your ears work perfectly fine." She flicker her tail towards the border.
