The rain is showering the earth gently, plants and animals alike delighted to feel the cold water on their body, ethereal or not. There is no wind or atleast harsh ones so Thor hopefully won't let out his anger onto the already chaotic grounds. Under the shades of a tree, a girl leans on the wet trunk and tightly hugged herself, shivrring due to the cold rain. Her hair which was in braid had gone wet and it had fallen to her shoulderblades. "If only I'm good at directions." She muttered under her breath. Kono, that's her name, she is the daughter of a travelling merchant so you'd think she is good at fending herself but no she was spoiled in her childhood with riches and the likes. Standing up, she looked around once more. Kono's fur clothing isn't helping her staying warm much as it's drenched by the rain already. She took a deep breath and walked out of the shades of tree. Not that it mattered since the leaves of the tree could not protect her for long. It's whether she goes out now, find the settlement where her father is or find a shelter and wait for the rain to stop. Sneezing, she walked through the rain, her legs weak. Running isn't the best option either since the forest floor is very slippery due to the rain, if she were to trio it would have been bad for her. Sure, Kono was spoiled but she is educated unlike some vikings.
After about thirty minutes in the rain, Kono's legs gave up. Perhaps her father was right, she could use some training just incase anything happens. Curses. Kono was lost in the forest after she went out searching for flowers. She collects pressed flowers of many kind and everytime she and her father travels to a different place she is very interested of the nature there, keeping her own journal to write interesting things or experiments. Perhaps it's best she atleast get some fitness trainings that way she focus on her studies and protect herself. Looking up at the gloomy sky, her back was on the ground. Her almost-pink eyes blinked twice before she let out a sigh, not having the strength to get up. Her hair which was white is covered in dirt. She was born with albinism so that's why her father took good care of her, travelling with her so she doesn't feel alone, not having any other relatives to stay with. "Father was right." she whispered and closed her eyes.
Kono felt a warm sensation on her body, like a blanket. She had heard footsteps but her consciousness had faded then. Opening her eyes, she looked around and was greeted by a pair of green eyes. Shocked, she uttered a low-pitched scream and tried to get up and only realized that the warmth she felt was from the creature beside her. It's a dragon if she recalls correctly- a Moldruffle. Taking a few seconds to analyze the situstion she knew that Moldruffles are quite dangerous and can ignite their tail and wings on- "Where is your other wing?" Kono couldn't help but questions the Moldruffle as she gets up on her back. It doesn't seem hostile like she thought dragons would be. It even lost a wing and had helped her- curious. Blinking a few times, thinking, she held her right hand out slowly to. the dragon, who only licked it, making Kono withdraws her hand. Feeling a sharp pain, Kono realizes her hand was bleeding, quite possibly due to a sharp object she had pushed through before her legs gave up. Looking at the dragon, it slowly lifts it's wing and emits a low, non-hostile growl. It- no, he could've attacked her or feast on her but why didn't he…? As the dragoon gets away slowly, Kono quickly gets up and follows it. "Wait!" she shouted, cuttung through the rain which shows no sign of stopping any soon.
After a few minutes of following the dragon, it stopped in a cave, shaking the water off it's body. "How dandy." She commented as she entered the slightly gloomy cave after the dragon, which only emited a low coo-like growl as if in reply to her words. Kono looked around the cave and tilted her head at the sigh of some dry wood in the middle of the small cave. Was this perhaps a camping site? The ashes aren't hot and it seems like nobody had visited the cave for awhile. Walking over to the unignited firewoods, she leans down and scans around for anything that could perhaps light the fire. She was deep in worried thoughts as she couldn't find anything so she jumped back when the fire had ignited. Looking around, she saw smoke out of the dragon's mouth, now resting a few feet away from him. "You're weird." Kono whispered but smiled. Why did this dragon helped her? That's in her mind right now and she had been musing over it for awhile, interested in the dragon's behavior.
