Cedrick doesn't like people. He's been living in a tiny shack in the middle of the forest, completely alone, for as long as he can remember. He finds social interactions tedious and unrewarding, and instead turns to the plants and animals of the forest for companionship. Completely self sufficient, Cedrick hunts, fishes, and gardens to gather the basic resources he needs to survive. One activity that he really enjoys is making leather jewelry from the hides he has left over from hunting, along with rocks and things he finds in the woods. Occasionally, he leaves the forest and sells his creations at markets, so he can buy metal tools such as shovels and scissors. His most prized possession is a machete that took him 3 years of savings to buy. Cedrick always keeps it at his side, as makes bush whacking much easier, and it serves as reassurance if he were to encounter a dangerous wild animal.

Cedrick is quite the lone wolf. Calling a deep ancient forest his home, he rarely sees others of his kind. Both a skillful hunter, and knowledgable gatherer, he does not rely on anyone but himself, because frankly, he doesn't trust anyone. If one were to encounter him, they'd have a hard time holding conversation, as all his answers are curt and literal, and angering him is no hard feat. He has his reasons for being a hermit, but that's a story for another time.
