Picked up my two new babies today! I love them already! The orange is a male, and the black is a female. No names yet, considering Hawkeye (Hawk) and Black Widow (Widow) though.

Excuse the lack of pics of the girl, shes hiding right now, so only have the one pic from the rescue for now. As soon as she comes out, she will get her pictures done lol. Tomorrow I'm gonna take them outside to get some good pictures in good lighting, and see how they take to their new harnesses!

Hello there
we (my dog was the first to hear it^^, then it cryed more loudly as it did hear our voices) found a little kitten in one of the fields as a follow dog owner and i where doing our morning exercise walk with our dogs.
first we looked if there where other kittens and waited to see if there was a mother, than we did try to find her, but we could not catch her, so we did give her mother an second chance to bring the baby away, after over an hour we where back again and the kitten cryed again loudly so i watched the outside of the field and the other dog owner did go in to catch it, she got it after some time.
now my question, what to do...vet when she can reach him, warm place, a travel cage to stay in with soft blanket and water, maybe some cat Food....?

but what else, we where not sure if the vet is there today or has time, so it may have to wait till tomorrow, what could you feed a kitten...lactose-free milk with some cat Food in it?
its eyes are open and it did not look sick...or is water with some cat food ok, or does she need to find a place for baby kitten milk? and does the baby needs a warm hotwater bottle at one place of the travel cage? Something else to think about, till the vet has time today or tomorrow?

it looks a bit younger than .Middys kitten...the black one.
Please klick them or they will die°°!!!

If the eyes are open and it's walking well then you're probably okay to give it some canned cat food. Hot water bottle isn't a bad idea either. Just make sure you keep it hydrated and warm until it can see the vet.

I'm not an expert and I'm not sure how old the kitten is exactly but you probably already have the right idea.

One of my cats is overweight. We feed him canned food twice a day and he gets a bit of dry food at night. The food brands aren't the greatest honestly, especially the dry food, but whenever we buy good quality food he refuses to eat it. All my other cats will eat it, but he refuses to even take a bite. I tried mixing the new food in slowly, but he just picks through it and eats the old brand. I have tried tons of toys but he rarely will play either. Any suggestions? I would really like to see him loose a few pounds.

( I don't think this counts as a medical question, but i'm sorry if it does )

How old are they?

@Luzien
Try to offer it some baby kitten food (preferably some that's like a paste almost, with no chunks) and see if it eats any. If it can't eat that yet, you might have to look for kitten milk instead, but a vet should be able to tell for sure. For now make sure to keep it hydrated and warm (but not too hot).
Can you take some pictures, or even weigh it to see how heavy it is?

You should try kitten food, Kitten food reduces the size of your cat. The kitten food I give my cat makes him shubby which means he's a bit overweight but not exactly. He's still a kitten and we will still give him the kitten food. I hope that works for you. I'll show you a picture of him. if you want to let him lose a few pounds then I would recommend twin pet. It's cheap but yet quality; I hope he loses weight. And if you want to see your cat more active then get a new toy or something, because cats tend to sleep 16-18 hours a day, so depending on how many hours your cat sleeps that may be the problem, wake him up maybe after 12 hours of rest so he can play or lose weight. Because if it gets to the point were his gut is dragging to the ground, maybe you should wake him up and play and groom him, so he gets exercise.

Honey " Female " Roughly 3 yrs
Honey is a spayed roughly 3 year old lady.
A Virgo, she recently turned three. Honey is very neat, although she doesn't tolerate much and isn't good with young children. Honey seems to be turning white but we aren't sure about it, we only think so because her undercoat is white while her surface fur is light orange. Tan? Cream? Beige? I don't know what to call it. Anyway, Honey is very long-haired a fluffy, and grooms a lot so her fur is very slick. She's picky and scrupulous. Her eyes also seem to be turning green. When we first got her, they were pretty much an orangish-amber colour, but now they are mostly pale green, with some amber. They look really pretty in the sunlight. She was born on the streets, taken to the ASPCA, then adopted and finally given to us by the adopter. She also has a ton of whiskers. Yep.

Thought I'd do a proper introduction now that I have time to type one out lol.

Anyways on Saturday, I adopted two kittens from a local rescue. I have named the female black and white kitten Black Widow (aka Widow) and the male orange and white Hawkeye (aka Hawk)

So far they are doing fantastic, the first night was rough because Widow kept coming up and licking then nibbling on my face while I slept, but last night she did great! They both slept curled up against my legs last night.

Widow took right to raw like a fish to water, she loves her raw for sure lol. Hawk took some convincing, I had to grind his up and mix some canned in last night, but today he ate it full raw and didn't even require it to be ground up!

Hawk is already getting use to his harness, he's willing to run, play, eat treats, and tackle his sister in it already! Widow is still a little unsure about it, but she isn't doing bad at all.

Hawk is doing fantastic with trick training. After one session, he almost has 'Sit' down! Next we will work on 'down' I think! Widow is starting to get it, but she still wants to paw at my hands most of the time. So she will need a bit more work before I can show y'all her 'sit'

Here is Hawk's first session on sit!
