Day 8 (Noon)/Veneficus/156/Where: Death Mountain/With: Everyone

(Fun Fact: 7 1/2 days have passed in the RPG over the course of 382 days in real life. This means that, on average, it takes 47 days and 21 hours in real life for 1 RPG day to pass; 1 day, 23 hours, and 52 minutes for 1 RPG hour to pass; and 47.87 seconds for 1 RPG second to pass.)

The group's Loftwings all landed on the sandy surface of the desert next to a ravine. Across the ravine, the sand turned purple and ominous mountains lurched in the distance. They had arrived at the Badlands.
Image
Guzore's loftwings set him down on the ground as he began to speak.
Did we get here in time?
Veneficus adjusted his goggles in an attempt to survey the distant tower in the Badlands.
I'm not sure... Telbar, the Bordix you all witnessed take Sebastian's skull, could be on his way here or he could already be here.
He pulled out a scroll with the prophecy written on it, looking for a particular verse.
"Strength In Power... Find The Tower..." That tower over there... it belongs to Dalgar, the leader of the Bordix. We must head there and prevent him from receiving the final ingredients for the Fused Shadow from Telbar.
There was no time to waste. The group set foot on the bridge from the desert to the Badlands. After most of them had crossed the bridge and only Jack and Jakub were still crossing, a Twilight portal opened up in the sky over the desert. Behind the group, a dark creature with a feminine appearance lowered herself out of the portal.
Did you miss me, Jakub?
Guzore turned around in horror.
Is that Tenebris!?
Tenebris shot a bolt of dark lightning out of her finger, striking Jakub and the bridge steps around him. The bridge fell back alongside the desert cliff with Jack holding on for dear life, while Jakub was raised into the air in a dark purple orb of energy. With his remaining strength, he grabbed the Sword of Courage from his sheath and tossed it to the rest of the group on the ground to keep it safe from Tenebris. Cassie reached up and caught the hilt with her right hand. A triangular pattern briefly flashed on the back of her hand. Veneficus marveled at this occurrence.
It would seem that the sword has accepted you as it's owner... until Jakub gets it back, of course.
Guzore looked at Jack and Jakub on the other side of the bridge.
Should we go back and help them?
Veneficus shook his head.
There's no time, we need to get to the tower before Telbar does!
Guzore looked back and forth once again before speaking.
But they're our friends, brother, and... uh... we can't get to the tower without everyone in the prophecy, right?
Veneficus pulled out the prophecy scroll again.
"To the forces of darkness, Hyrule will fall. Warriors of 12 to answer the call." The prophecy only stated that 12 warriors would be involved in the fighting of the Bordix War, and Jack and Jakub holding off Tenebris could still qualify as that.
Guzore looked back at Jack and Jakub once more out of worry. The group continued onward while Jack and Jakub held Tenebris back. Veneficus read specific lines out of the prophecy, attempting to decipher the meaning out of them.
"The sages of 6 The goddess’ enthrall..." What could that mean? There's still nine of us here...
The group continued on for awhile until another Twilight Portal opened up behind the group. Two regular-looking Hylians appeared out of it. One was a brown-haired woman and one was a blond man with a neatly trimmed beard.
Veneficus stared at them peculiarly.
...May I help you?
Della screamed.
Both of the Hylians stared directly at her with a strange glow in their eyes.
I t ' s t i m e t o c o m e h o m e , s w e e t i e . . .
Veneficus looked through the prophecy again, looking for answers.
"The Girl Will Cower..." Yes, Della certainly cowered right there, but why? Could those to be...?
Suddenly, Veneficus realized that the red look in their eyes was no ordinary look. It was the mark of a possession spell. Guzore gasped as well.
Ferondir... Did you ever send Della's parents any letters like you said you would...?
Veneficus took a few steps back from the Hylians.
I'm afraid a sinister force may have contacted Della's parents before we were able to. They're possessed.
W e j u s t w a n t t o h a v e a l i t t l e t a l k . . .
Suddenly, several magical pillars rose up out of the ground around the Hylians and Della, creating a fence barrier. Drimaethor and Shinceon were trapped in the circle of pillars as well. Only Veneficus, Zephyrus, Ferondir, Cassie, Guzore, Sapphire, and Shialia remained outside of the Tenebris fight and possessed parents fight. Drimaethor stepped forward with his bow.
It's okay Della, Shinceon and I will protect you.
To be Continued...

Shinceon

He had been silently following them, not reacting when the bridge fell nor when some of the party was trapped fighting the Bordix. He was surprised that there was not much commotion that he came with but was ready to fight. When the different Hylians stepped out he created the other side of he trident to get ready for a fight which was lucky because pillars formed around him and two other of the party members one of them seeming to cower. He stepped forward with Drimaethor as his eye started to glow and fire started to form at the end of his trident.

Sapphire - Veneficus, Zephyrus, Ferondir, Cassie, Guzore, and Shialia

Sapphire waved goodbye to her Loftwing, and turned around to see chaos unfold. She shrunk back, nearly bumping into Shia. She turned around abruptly, noticing that she had gotten very close. She murmured an apology, and shifted her position to be less obtrusive, staying behind everyone. She hoped that they got through this safely. A tremor of fear went through her as she thought about the fact they might be captured. She clenched her fists, though she tried to look more determined than afraid.

Jack Gallows / Day 8 / Just Hangin' Around

Jack clung to the bridge with as many limbs as he could while it swung over the gap. He gave the cliff face a crazed smile as he realized that this wasn't what he meant when he expected to die hanging. While he couldn't hear much but the wind whistling past him, he saw Guzore gesturing to Veneficus while the old wizard looked Jack's way before they both walked onwards with the rest of the group.
Jack would have liked to process what that meant but decided there were more pressing issues. As he started carefully climbing back up he was thankful that the rope bridge conveniently transformed into a rope ladder after being broken. Up above it sounded like either some sort of magic duel had already started, or some intrepid traveling band of musicians were ahead of their time. Either way, Jack had to see it.

Schadenfreude sisters: Pravo und Zliva

A cackle was heard as two figures appeared behind Shinceon. "Oh sweetheart, don't you know that, fish mama here, is still a threat to you all?" Murmured Pravo. Both of them stepped back to distance themselves from the group.

"Not to mention Shia is still in our grasp." There movements seemed as if they were light as air. "I think we have an advantage here. Also the deal we made... Ah, this is all quite a predicament." They shrug and look to each other.

"Oh, but I am sure this prophecy will allow an exception or two, noting you seemed to have forgotten you're penguin friend. Sixteen, right? He was a part of this too, right?!" They both chuckled, linking arms. "I have to say, your tenacity of this entire situation amuses me."

Day 8 (Noon)/Veneficus/156/Where: Badlands/With: Everyone

Veneficus clenched his fists in resentment. Why did those two have to keep getting in their way?
He turned around and took a deep breath.
Come on, the rest of you still with me.
Zephyrus, Ferondir, Cassie, Guzore, Sapphire, and Shialia followed Veneficus across yet another bridge and stood in front of the ominous blood-red tower arching into the dark grey clouds of the sky. Cracks of thunder echoed in the distance as a steady breeze of wind began to fill the air. A hooded figure stood right in front of the entrance to the tower. A flash of lightning lit up his cloak, revealing that it was the same Bordix man who had taken the dragon skull earlier. Veneficus stepped forward.
Telbar... don't do this.
Telbar chuckled.
I have to say, I'm mildly surprised that you had the nerve to show up here, with your... friends.
Veneficus took another step towards Telbar.
Listen to me. What you're attempting to do is-
I don't have to listen to a single word you say. You have no right to even be on these grounds. I'm about to give these final ingredients to Dalgar, who's waiting for me at the top of the tower, and I won't let a pathetic little runt like you stop me.
Telbar turned and opened the doors to the tower, marching right in. After muttering a few words in another language and snapping his fingers, red and black bolts of electricity shot out of his finger and raced up and around the tower. The doors closed behind him, and a bright flash was seen peeking through the crack in between the doors. They both opened again, revealing a portal made of black and purple streaks of energy. Veneficus stepped towards the portal and briefly inspected it. He looked up at the tower and saw a faint red force field encompassing the top.
The only way for us to get to the top from here is through the tower, and to get in, we'll have to pass through whatever lies behind that portal. It'll be an inconvenient detour, but I have faith in you guys to get through it and reach the inside of the tower. I wish you all the best of luck.
Veneficus stepped into the portal and disappeared behind it. Guzore briefly hesitated, and followed behind him.

Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ The Tower ~ Shia, Zeph, Cassie

Ferondir had been too weak to do anything. He was always too weak. He'd let Jacob and Jack and be trapped or killed.
One other thought penetrated this regret.
The sword's Aura had harmonized with both Jacob's and Cassie's soul song.
Were they so similar? They were both sea captains, but beyond that, they seemed entirely different.
Before he could finish his inner discussion, what used to be Della's parents appeared.
The jarring and frightening souls he heard there rendered him useless.
...
"I've got a bad feeling about this," Ferondir said. "Is this not playing into his hands?" He examined the portal. "There has got to be a way around this."
Finding nothing, and seeing Guzore enter, he did so too.
"I'm so going to regret this."

Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ Beyond the Portal

Ferondir stumbled out the other side, and found himself blinded by light.
MIra village stood in front of him.
It's not real, he thought.
How was he meant to escape this?
He stepped into the village.
The people there regarded him coldly. Even his old friends. None of them had soul songs. They were all just solid projections.
He did however, here one song.
A familiar song.
"Shia?"
It wasn't hers, it held more notes, more experience, it was much older.
But so like hers.
He followed the sound, completely distracted from his goal. He absolutely had to know who it was.

To be continued.,,

Sapphire saw no other option but to follow Guzore and Ferondir. She glanced at Shia nervously, then Della, then walked in. She saw that she was in the zora's domain. Water surrounded her, and she immediately dove in. She felt it slide past her, soothing all her aches and pains. Then she heard something out of place.
"Sapphire!"
"There you are, Sapphire. You sure slept in late today.""
Sapphire turned over to the voices, and broke into tears. In front of her swam a greenish blue Zora and a pure white Zora.
"A-a-amethyst? D-d-diamond? I thought you-the pirates-a-a-and-"
"Oh, poor Sapphire, did you have that dream again? Oh, you poor thing! It was just a dream! Shhh, shh, don't worry."
Diamond embraced Sapphire, and they sat there for a long time, Sapphire slowly calming down. "I-it really was a dream? But it felt so real-"
"Shhh, don't worry. It was just a dream. Sapphire, would going fishing calm you down?"
"I-I do like fishing... and swimming in general."
But what if this is a dream? I have never personally seen a Goron before, so how did I imagine one? And why did that adventure seem so real? Amethyst saw Sapphire's doubting expression, and gave her a reassuring smile. Sapphire thought for a moment, then decided. Even if it is fake, I might as well enjoy it... even for just a bit... "Where is Corundum?"
"I am not sure... we might find him when we are hunting, though." Sapphire yearned to see her father again, but was happy enough to be with her mom and sister. They swam out to the fishing area, and got out their spears. Sapphire noticed that the spear on her back was her old one, the one she lost when the pirates- no, the one she thought she lost in her dream. They swam out, chasing fish in the abnormally abandoned fishing area. She wondered why so few were out fishing right now. She was too happy to worry about that, though.
They finished fishing, and each ate a fish. Sapphire enjoyed the taste of fresh fish, and ate hungerly, not realizing until then how hungry she was. She swam to the surface, wanting to do some flips like she used to. Amethyst and Diamond seemed to understand, and followed her up. She flipped into the air, doing front flips and back flips. and twirled around in the water. Then she remembered, this was not real. It felt too... happy to be real. She paused her dance, looking thoughtful. Amethyst gave her a look. "What's wrong, Sapphire? The dream still troubling you?"
"But it wasn't a dream... It felt too real, and this doesn't feel real. You are dead. But I will be, too, if I don't escape. At least, all my friends will be."
"Sapphire, we are not dead. we are right here. In front of you."
"We are not dead. This is real. Sapphire, forget your dream. The friends you met in your dream don't exist. Live with us, please."
Sapphire immediately realized, with a rush of distrust and unhappiness, that her mom, well, the imaginary version of her mom, was trying to trick her. The tone of voice was not hers. This was not like her, and Amethyst was being way too distant. "Y-you aren't real. This isn't real! You are not my mom! And I don't need an imagination of my mom, or... her... I have my friends to support me now. I don't need my sister, either. My friends care about me, and you might, but you aren't real anymore, and they are real." Suddenly, a bright white light flashed, and she was not in her dream world anymore.

(This post is a collab between me and Portal2lbp2. These events I am posting occur during the battle in the volcano. Portal2lbp2 will post the events following after. Sorry for the lateness! XD )

After the group entered the volcano, Cassie just set herself down on a ledge overlooking the fiery pit below. She gazed down towards the swirling void of orange and red that continued to bubble over and over again. She was beat. This was her first chance in a long while to actually sit down and take a break. Sure, it was a little hot, but that’s better than walking around...for miles on end… with no sleep…. Of any kind….. But now she had the chance to relax…. Nothing to bug her or anything of the so-“OH, WHAT. NOW.” Cassie grumbled. All of a sudden there was a dragon. A dragon. “Are you kidding me? Well this just can’t get any worse….” Suddenly a total of six demons just appeared, out of what seemed to be thin air. “Oh yep…. It got worse.” Cassie stared at the large mess in front of her. Cassie did not want to deal with this at all. She was annoyed and stressed out. She did not want to deal with a dragon right now. She did not want to fight demons right now. Both sounded really cool and really intriguing, but she just was not feeling up to it. Lately Cassie had been confused. Adding on to her already frustrated and terrible mood, she had been questioning herself about every thought that swam through her mind. She was just too confused to actually deal with anything right now. “Nothing makes sense.” She said angrily, as she picked up a slab of rock and chucked it down towards the lava below. Unknowingly, the rock hit a demon right on the top of its head. Cassie looked down to see the demons eyes filled with a fiery anger. “...oops.” Cassie knew she should probably flee the scene before the demon found her, however the was nowhere to go where there already wasn’t a battle going on. “Oh come on, there’s gotta be something...anything!” She then saw a faint light glow out of the corner of her eye. She turned around to see a faintly glowing spiral staircase. “....Well… That’ll do.” She started walking up and as she touched every step it slowly fade from existence. Like dust flying away in the wind. She continued going up thinking about how much her feet hurt. There was just no end. She finally made it to the top. “Huh..I guess there was an end.”
She looked over to see Zeph staring off into the distance, no rhyme or reason. He was probably just thinking. About what though? What is he thinking about? There must be so many thoughts running through his head. I can just tell. Cassie decided to approach the snow white haired guy and started talking to him, trying to strike up a conversation. “Hey… What are you doing up here? Shouldn’t you be down there fighting?””Mhm. But I’m not really in the mood, so. Here I am.” Zeph said, gesturing for Cassie to sit on the stone next to him. "And apparently, here you are too. “ He said, looking up to Cassie and smiling quickly. “Yeah...I am just in no mood to fight… which is really strange..because I would love to be punching a demon right now.” “Wouldn’t we all?” He responded lightly, glancing up from the turning mass of heat below them. “So, it’s... been awhile. What are you thinking about...well,” Zeph began, to say- then momentarily pausing. “All this?” He gestured vacantly towards the volcano below, as voices and noises could be heard. “Oh well…. I guess… I’m not sure.” Cassie didn’t want to be that person to not express what she was feeling, but she didn’t quite know what she was feeling. “I guess I’ve been beginning to question life.” “Question life? Sounds exciting... and just slightly existential. Then again, who am I to blame? These last few weeks have brought up more...” Zeph paused, glancing at Cassie before continuing. “...Questions,... than answers.” “Yeah… Life's a tough one to answer, but hey it’s whatever.” Cassie said looking at Zeph, they weren’t really doing much. Then she had an idea. “Well since we’re both just sitting up here...show me something cool, Wizard-boy.” She said giving him a sly smirk on her face. “Dangerous request- usually I don’t do party tricks, unlikesomepeopleweknow, but fine, only because it’s you. It’ll be our little secret.” Zeph said, with a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. He thought for a moment, and then once he had decided on what to shower her, excitedly pulled out his Stele. Stele in hand, he quickly drew circles in the air- as glowing lines of white light hung in the air marking where he had drawn.. “Ready for this?” He said, smirking. Zeph pointed the Stele at the inner circle, and steadily drew his hand backwards- as he did, the inner circle zoomed in on the fighting below them. Now the two could see much farther than their well-trained eyes could have. “Oh, but that’s not it.” He picked up a stone from among the various assorted rocks and placed it in Cassie’s hand. “What am I supposed to do with this?” Cassie questioned. “Toss it in” Zeph said, still smirking. Curiously, Cassie put the stone inside the rune, and felt it as it was zoomed out of her hand, into the back of a Demon’s head. “Awesome! That’s so cool! Show me more!” she said with a gleam in her eyes.
Zeph thought for a moment more , and once decided, he excitedly grabbed a stone from the ground they were sitting on, and turned it around his hand. Zeph glanced at Cassie, a mischievous grin on his face- and then casually brought the stone close to his face, and gently blew on it. As he did, the stone began to gleam a bright red, and after a moment, it burst into flames. Zeph tossed it into the sky, and with a whirring noise it burst, making streams of light and fiery confetti rain down onto them. Cassie looked on in amazement. “Oh cool! That’s so awesome…” Cassie stopped for a moment. A sudden flash of imagery went through her mind. A sight of flames caressing some trees in their blaze. The sound of screaming could be heard in the distance, and the sound of her very name whispered past her ear. Cassie then snapped back to see Zeph staring at her like she was insane. “Sorry… My brain just loves doing that to me… reminding me of memories that I don’t remember… and I guess that’s why I’m upset.” “Wait- memories....? Memories of- of who? Of what?” Zeph said with a hint of urgency in his voice, before recomposing himself. “Do you- er- Do you remember how you lost your memories?” Zeph asked curiously. Cassie looked up shyly at him.”I-I sure wish I could, but nothing rings a bell… Most of these flashes have been mainly images of...fire and flame.. Burning. Something of dark intent.” She continued to stare at him, something aglow in his light blue eyes. There was some sort of attachment she felt. Something deep down inside her that she just couldn’t shake. Something that made all her fear and stress disappear… like magic.

Re: [Invite-Only] Legend of Zelda: Explorers of Hyrule RPG

Postby portal2lbp2 » Tue Jul 12, 2016 2:14 pm

This is a long post again. This is the next part continuing after Sassy Princess' last post. Enjoy!
Zeph/The volcano and other places/With: everyone else for a bit.
The two legacies stood eye to eye, a sincere smile, which has been rarely found recently, pulled on Zeph's aloof expression. Screaming and shouting could be heard far below, however, like a wisped echo, it was mere background noise to the two. In that moment, the only beings that existed in their worlds were right in front of each other. “Zeph, I think....I think, some part of me....might really like-" The ground trembled, a violent roar filled the skies, and an immense heat encompassed the field, as the volcano, in which the group was occupying, erupted as violently as a hurricane of lava and flames.

Quickly, in a moments notice, Zeph pulled Cassie in close to him, extending his sword as far as he could, projecting as much magic into it as he was able to gather. “Please....Work!” He forced out with an exasperated breath, as several of the ancient runes on the sword flared into a bright light. In moments, the two were engulfed in fire, as Cassie and Zeph shouted for their survival. “Whoa...” Cassie whispered, mesmerized by the rampant and chaotic flames that grazed past the blue and purple field that surrounded them. “What’s-? How-?” She questioned, looking up towards Zeph, whose expression was stern, and controlled as he was more-so focused on keeping the shield intact.

She took note of the wind tousling his hair, and the ambient red and orange lava that illuminated his figure. Zeph’s eyes glinted a brighter blue as he glanced down to confirm Cassie’s security- instead he noticed her curiously impressed expression. Zeph smirked when he began to explain what was, quite ingeniously, done. “Do you know the first rule of Alchemy?” He waited for a moment to adjust the sword tip before continuing. “Equivalent Exchange. Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost.” He laughed slightly, observing how the fire and lava parted around them from the tip of his sword. “I guess you could say I’m using the energy from the explosion to create this shield. The higher the quantity of energy that comes in contact with the sword, the more I can transmute into the strength of the forcefield.” He glanced down one more time, with more than just a trace of pride in his eyes.
After a few minutes had passed, and the lava receded enough for the two to get by, Cassie and Zeph quickly joined with the rest of the group, just in time to see Della throw a potion into the heart of Sebastian. “how is he still alive after an explosion like that? Wow. Dragons are serious business. No wonder they are animals of Myth." Zeph thought.
TIME SKIP 1
“Afraid of a challenge are we? That just won’t work.” Zeph teased Cassie slyly about the look she gave the Loftwing. “I’m not!” She responded quickly. “Prove it then” Zeph said smirking to Cassie. He extended his arm, offering Cassie a lift on his loftwing. She grabbed it and swiftly got on behind Zeph, wrapping her arms around his waist. “Hold on tight. Something tells me this is going to be a fun ride.” He said, as the loft wing flew into the air.
TIME SKIP 2 Where I skip a lot of stuff.
Zeph stood, curiosity piqued, in front of the large, gleaming, and slightly ominous portal in front of him. “After all of that, it’d be a shame to let the dramatic flare go to waste”. He approached the gaping portal, and thoughtfully examined the surface area. It appeared as a slight fluid- meaning it certainly wouldn’t take them directly to the other side. How could he hope to be so lucky. Zeph turned, back to the portal, and looked right at Cassie (and the rest of the group, of course). “Through the looking glass we go.” He said cautiously, as he jumped backwards into the portal.
Image

“Well, that was exciting, wasn’t it?” Zeph said, standing up and brushing off his cloak once he reemerged. He looked around, observing the room that he was in. It looked like an early styled ballroom/throne room, with hard-stone floors, and elegantly decorated walls- draped with fine red curtains, and old, dust touched, mirrors to compliment the dark and eery feeling that embodied the room. There were no candles, or lights of any kind, for that matter. Which didn’t add any sense of welcoming and hospitality to the room's environment.

“I do say, It’s about time you made it. I’m getting quite bored.” A cold, dignified, voice said from the dark, far end of the room. A few candelabras ignited around the, now visible, throne that sat there. “Of course, what else would be here besides you.” Zeph said, “Well, here I am thinking I’d get some sort of welcoming party, or at the very least a shocked expression- but here you are, disappointing me yet again.” Dark Zeph said, draped sideways across the throne. “And yet again, here you are- being the same old nuisance that everyone wants around.” Zeph replied sarcastically. “Ouch, someone has a bit of a mouth today. It’s a shame I don’t care- you might though, once it gets you into trouble.” “Wouldn’t be the first time. Okay. Let’s just cut to the chase, you aren’t just going to let me walk out of here are you? Because if it’s a fight you want, I’ll warn you right now, I have a lot of pent up energy-”
“-Always with the drama, aren’t you? Don’t worry. This time it’s actually something beneficial... for the both of us.” Dark Zeph said calmly, standing up from throne, and stretching passively.
“Right, because I want to do anything that helps you.” Zeph said, a hint of aggression rising in his tone.
“You might want to consider what I have to offer before you leave. But of course, if that doesn’t interest you....” Dark Zeph swung his arm around, gracefully, towards a large wooden door at the end of the room, which promptly swung open and revealed the portal to get out.
Zeph looked from the smirk on Dark Zeph’s face, to the door that supposedly leads out.
“The choice is yours- but you might be inclined to hear my offer first.” He said, slowly approaching Zeph.
This isn’t an option is it? He isn’t giving me this choice? Unless he is... Zeph hesitated before speaking. “Yeah, I don’t think so.” He said, turning and walking towards the door.
He was almost there when Dark Zeph called out, with an underlying tone of actual emotion in his voice, from behind him.
“A Restart.”
Zeph stopped.
“I thought you would like that. You heard that right, I can send you back. Back to before you broke everything- you get a second chance. Free of charge.”
Zeph tightened his hands. “No, this isn’t real.” “And what do you get out of this?” Zeph asked, thinking he’d gotten him in a point.
“I get untethered from you. What, you think I like watching everything you and your annoying group do? You’re the most interesting one there, but there’s only so many times I can watch the Romantic Comedy Tragedy genre that unfolds. So, what do you say?”
“No. You can’t do it. This. Isn’t. Real. But what if it is? But it isn’t. But...Mom....Dad... Think about everything that wouldn’t have happened! Ferondir and I wouldn’t be as close. But I get another chance. This can all be over.” Zeph was thinking for a minute.
He turned around, frustrated at the fact that this was his only option.
Dark Zeph smirked, holding out his hand.
Zeph approached him wearily, and stopped once he was a few feet infront of him.
“If I do this, you give me your word I can go back and fix everything, and nothing else?”
“It’s a deal then, because I do.” He said, extending his hand out farther.
Zeph grabbed his hand-
“Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to make a deal with a demon?” Dark Zeph said.
-And almost instantly regretted it.
Tendrils of dark lightning, accompanied by bright fire and a large roaring noise, filled the room. Quickly, the bleak facade of the throne room quite literally melted away, as the white ceiling began to soften and melt into a thick, dark, goo, that fell and promptly splattered on the floor. Shortly, everything, down to the mirrors and drapes, were turning into the black tar. Zeph, who was in searing pain, feeling like his body was being melted from the inside out, looked up at Dark Zeph- who was laughing. A dark, evil laugh. He released Zephs hand, and smirked as he fell and sunk into the goo that now made up the floor. Zeph reached for air, attempting to pull himself out, but in seconds all he could see and feel was the hot black liquid he was submerged in.
To be continued.
