she was born with artist's blood, her mother used to tell her. and although it didn't do much to help zaria's perpetual state of distress and utter bankruptcy, it did allow her to see the world in a different light. she liked seeing her reflection stare back at her in the crevice of the spoon as she ate her cereal each morning, and she also liked it when strangers flashed a friendly smile towards her as she walked to her shop. despite this, zaria also liked to keep her private life private. she tended to use a rather caustic tone of voice when conversing with intrusive people, and she didn't really have any regrets about where it got her in life.

at present, zaria had miraculously made it out of her bed (more often than not she would fall victim to her downy comforter's heavenly clutches and would fail to do anything productive for the day) and headed to her tiny kitchen before quickly slipping on clothes that were strewn across her room haphazardly. now in her small bathroom, the dark haired girl combed through her ebony locks absentmindedly, and then brushed her teeth with the same habitual tiredness. she was let off work from the tattoo shop late, so she decided to take a nap before doing anything else.

after cleaning herself up, zaria bent down to stuff all her painting paraphernalia into a medium sized bag. it had been a long time since she went out to draw something as mundane as a landscape, but zaria couldn't resist the charm of a relaxing evening with absolutely no one to nag at her. although she rarely ventured to the place, zaria had her own secret flower meadow on the outskirts of the city, and it was one of her favorite painting locations. she had paintings of the meadow during daylight hours, but not one of the meadow at night. tugging the handle of the canvas bag over one shoulder, zaria promptly left the apartment and walked to the meadow.

arriving at the meadow, zaria took a deep breath and exhaled just as deeply, taking in the breathtaking surroundings. the expanse of land was covered in a gently swaying sea of vibrant green, dotted periodically with radiant shades of yellow and white. rays of molton silver moonlight bathed the field in a simply picturesque quality, and the pale light scintillated off the early evening dewdrops that settled on the flowers. she found herself a cushion of soft grass and set up her her stand and empty canvas, and fumbled with her paint bottles before succeeding in finding the perfect mixture of vivid colors. just as she was about to begin her artwork, she was interrupted by a very unusual event.

if she wasn't going insane, someone or something crashed down into the meadow from the starry night sky. "oh my god," zaria gasped as she hurriedly jogged to the site of the incident. running a hand through her wavy black hair in distress, she examined the scene carefully. there was a beautiful woman lying in the tall grass of the field; the artist blinked a few times rapidly to make sure she wasn't imagining things. "are you, uh," zaria stammered, unsure of what she should do "are you okay?" she almost choked the question out upon realizing that this woman was stark naked. averting her gaze sharply, zaria quickly threw off her jacket and draped it over the girl's shoulders in attempt to make it less awkward. there had to be a story here; gorgeous people did not normally fall from the sky for zaria.

pain. it was the first sensation that attacked his nervous system as raphael's silvery eyes shot open. there was a throbbing ache coming from the back of the angel's head that he felt with tentative touches. a sharp sting made itself known on his upper arm, and upon investigation, raphael noticed a small wound that was oozing a red liquid. when he probed at it carefully, the angel grimaced at the sparks of pain it induced. dizzy and disoriented, raphael attempted to make sense of his dire situation. dear god, he was hurting and bleeding. panic immediately rushed his system as adrenaline began rapidly pumping through his veins; angels did not get hurt. angels did not feel pain. angels did not panic. as realization hit home, raphael was struck by an awareness that felt like a cold, metallic blunt edge in his gut followed by a similar sinking feeling in his stomach. he was human. when he reached towards his back, the familiar downy soft feathers met his fingers which gave him an small amount of relief, but he knew this was different. deep inside, raphael could feel life flowing through his body, he could feel his heart pounding monotonously in his chest, a reminder that it would be at rest one day. traces of morality were apparent in him; his knees felt weak and shaky, his bare body shivered at the cold air that wafted through the alleyway, his mouth was dry with utter confusion.

unable to collect his thoughts, raphael resigned himself to laid back into the wall he was closest to. after taking deep, controlled breaths, the angel sat up and decided to find out where he was. dragging his silver-teal gaze across his surroundings, raphael could safely conclude that he was not in heaven. what did he do to deserve this? disappointment came first, but then another foreign emotion bubbled up from the pit of his stomach like a small fire. he suddenly felt the need to hit something, to break an object, or scream out in vexation, something to quell the raging fury that burned in his bones. raphael thought he was a decent angel, as far as he knew. the fire of anger was washed out by a flood of sadness and confusion as the ivory haired angel sighed. there was nothing he could do but, maybe enjoy God's creation? he supposed there were worse ways of punishment, and that he was lucky he did not wake up in hell.

using the little knowledge of human culture he knew, raphael concluded that he was in an alley. trash, dirt, dust, and more unrecognizable pieces of garbage littered the cold, concrete floor. there was a pungent odor that made raphael crinkle his nose in disgust and an eerie, unsafe feeling of being in the cramped space that only human instincts could pick up on. careful to avoid the shards of glass left over from a messily discarded beer bottle, raphael tiptoed his way to the exit of the alley. he wondered why humans did this, left their waste haphazardly in a space like this, and cringed at the sight. raphael's baby blue eyes lit up with wonder as he neared the lights outside the dingy place. he stared dumbstruck with awe at the tall buildings that seemed to touch the sky with their enormity, and the radiantly bright lights that sparkled everywhere he looked and seemed to illuminate the city like stars in the night sky.

the angel had nearly no shame as he walked out of the gloomy alleyway with nothing to cover his naked body. noticing that the other people all had garments to clothe themselves, it brought his attention back to himself. he never remembered a time when he needed anything to dress himself with, but a queer sense of embarrassment was nonetheless creeping up on him. all doubtful thoughts where quickly washed away as his attention was captivated by something else in the city. a man with a musical instrument of some sort was standing near the edge of a building, and there was a heavenly tune coming from the way the man strummed his fingers across the instrument. strangely mystified by the act, the angel found himself gravitating towards the man with the guitar, his ocean blue eyes wide with wonder. once finished with his song, raphael commented energetically at his performance, "what beautiful music," the silver-haired angel said with a child-like smile spreading over his pale complexion.

── DOMINIQUE WOLFHART ──
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
( male ) ( nineteen ) ( human ) ( location: park ) ( tags: aster )
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Being the night owl he was, Dominique was returning home from the gym. He mostly ran on the treadmill and occasionally lifted small weights. He could not imagine himself bench pressing anything. He only wanted to keep himself in shape while not becoming overly buff. A look like that would not suit him. He had a lean and thin frame, and he had no desire to have a build of a weight lifter. Sure, it looked nice on some, but he would be the few that it would not look good. He was slightly self-conscious about his body, so he was careful when he worked out. He would eat healthy, but he was not strict on his diet. He still ordered pizza and ordered takeout. He was not the best cook, and it was difficult preparing such healthy meals for himself on a daily basis. At least he could say that he was somewhat healthy.

The human had to walk by the park on his way home. He never liked how eerie and quiet it was, so he always picked up the pace. Having grown up with an older sister loving horror movies, he was always dragged into watching them with her. He had too many nightmares of various monsters chasing him. Shaking his head, he picked up his pace as he started walking near the park. He flinched when a swing started to move because of the wind. This made him quicken his pace even more. Lifting his hands, he held onto the bag on his back that held his gym clothes. He always brought a change of clothes for when he finished working out. He even used the shower that was provided at the gym. He somewhat regretted the decision because it was rather chilly out, and his hair was damp from his cold shower. If anything, it made walking by the park even creepier than it already was. He could feel goosebumps appear on the back of his neck.

As he was almost away from the park, he heard rustling in the bushes along with a quiet groan. His eyes widened, his gaze directing over to the bush. His mind was telling him to run while another part of him told him to stay and investigate. This is it. This is how I'm going to die. There's going to be a werewolf, and it's going to tear out my heart and eat it. He thought as he started to approach the bush. As he neared the bush, he crouched down and reached his hand out to pull back some of the branches and leaves. What he saw was not what he had expected. He saw an unclothed attractive man in the bushes. His cheeks heated up in embarrassed, but he had to focus on helping him. "Um, are you okay? What happened to you?" He inquired, standing up and holding his hand out to help him out of the bush while his other hand continued to hold back the branches and leaves. He averted his eyes from the man, ready to throw his gym bag at him when he was free from the bushes. He would feel bad giving him sweaty clothes, but it was better than no clothes.

When Charmeine opened her eyes, her eyes were directed to the night sky. The angel winced quietly as she turned on her side to curl up in a ball. Goosebumps appeared on her bare skin when a cold brush of air swept by her, and a shudder went down her spine. She felt as if she was in the same situation as Adam and Eve when they sinned and lost their clothing. The angel wanted to hide in the tall grass and never make an appearance to the world. She was ashamed and embarrassed. Even though she was not the one to commit the sin, she still felt the side affects of being guilty. Slowly, she sat up and wrapped her arms around her knees. She lifted her head to the sky, a pitiful look on her face. "I'm so sorry." She whispered, feeling tears build up in her eyes. She blinked in surprise, unwrapping an arm from around her knees to lift a hand to her cheek. She wiped away a tear and held her finger out to look at the wet substance on her pointer finger. She knew what emotions were, but she had never experienced them at this extent. The angel of harmony gave a small sniffle, feeling tears drift down her cheeks. A sob formed in her chest, a painful knot in her throat as she held in the sob. She knew that she should not be upset, but she was. The Father would not want her to sit here and cry until she was taken back to heaven. She needed to do something to prove herself that she was worthy of returning. Wiping her arm across her face, she removed most of the tears that had fallen. Slowly, she rose to her feet and nearly stumbled due to pain in her left leg. Another new sensation that she had never experienced: pain. She was unsure how humans healed themselves, so she sat back on the grass and wrapped her arms around her head. She released a sigh, her eyes squeezing shut. She was at a lost on what to do.

Suddenly, she heard some movement in the distance. She lifted her gaze to see a human approaching her. Despite her situation, she gave the girl a soft smile. The human asked if she was okay, and she was unsure how to answer. She kept silent for a moment to examine the girl avert her gaze then removed her jacket to place it on her shoulders. The angel was relieved to have some warmth on her bare body. She grabbed the front of the jacket to pull it more toward her body. "I don't think I am? My leg hurts." She explained, stretching out her injured leg to show that it was scrapped up from the fall. Other than that, she did not sustain too many injuries. Her elbows were scrapped up as well, but her left leg was the worst. "I'm Charmeine." She added, shifting her legs underneath her to try to stand up again. She wobbled slightly, but she managed to stand up right. She licked her lips and cleared her throat, realizing how dry her mouth felt.

cassiel [ one. ]

      ⚜CASSIEL !!
    [ role. ] fallen angel [ sex. ] male [ age. ] twenty-one [ location. ] field ?? [ tags. ] none;

a dull pain throbbed behind his eyes && he ached everywhere. they were feelings alien to him as the angel had never felt pain before this very moment. cassiel stifled a groan as he tried heaving himself up from his former face-in-the-dirt position. uselessly, his arms gave way && he toppled back down onto his chest, a searing pain shooting through his nerves as he realized he may or may not have landed dead on a stone. cassiel's breath hitched from the sudden sharp contact; he decided it was best he probably roll over onto his back instead && let the pain ebb away.

instead of the ethereal view that comforted him through lonely eons, cassiel was greeted by a dark night sky, littered with shining stars && a single moon in their wake.

cassiel had an inkling that he wasn't in heaven anymore but seeing this made his question become a wounded reality. when the discomforts started to recede, the angel sat himself upright. cassiel seemed to be in an empty field, tall grasses blocking his view of what settled over the horizon. once he was sure nothing would trip him up again, he stood && began to face the harsh reality that he wasn't in heaven anymore.

cassiel rolled his shoulders, no longer feeling or hearing the ruffle of feathers that he used to be addressed with. panic swelled up inside of his gut && he suddenly felt a rush of fear shoot up his spine. everything on earth was so new to him; cassiel had never stepped foot on the planet before now && he was afraid.

cassiel stared at the sky with a newfound horror as he became conscious of that fact that he had fallen. the whole lot came crashing around him; he couldn't escape the compressed feeling in his chest as he made his way out of the grass filled field. cassiel was human; and a very bad human already. the fallen angel was naked && cold && hungry && he had no idea where the nearest town was.

what he had learned from heaven was that humans were cold && didn't care about any other life rather than their own. he was taught by his guardians to stay away from humans as they were dangerous && could kill. cassiel doubted the last bit then as angels could only be killed by a special type of weapon but since he was no longer angel, he could die at any given moment and that petrified him.

once his feet came in contact with the cold gravely cement of the road, cassiel shivered && wrapped his arms around his chest; a faint sense of protection warming up his insides. the fallen angel wanted to get to safety as quick as possible so he began walking down the dark road with nothing to lose.

      { AVI }
      ✯ ✯ ✯
      [ location } park somewhere??? [ tagged } Keira
      ________________________________________

Just when Avi was about to rest, he heard the soft click of something go off a couple times. Curious, his eyes darted around where he believed the noise to have originated. Squinting, he finally saw the figure of an actual human as she approached him. Now, no matter what his human emotions made him feel, he had no shame in being nude. What could be so wrong? Well, apparently, a lot. Avi was bewildered as she chastised him. Opening his mouth, he had planned to defend himself but nothing came out. Whether it was because he had no excuse or because he was too speechless, he could not say. Both options seemed right. The tone of her voice was what sent him back into the whorl of embarrassment from not too long ago. He had no idea what he had done wrong, up until she threw some clothes at him. Barely catching the garment, he held against himself. In an awkward position, he tried to get a better hold of it, which rewarded him with another shot of pain.

Curled over himself, he felt exposed and weak. This was no way an angel should be. Flashes of memories ran through his head, as he thought of how he was meant to act. Times when he stood proud, and was the one looking down onto others. His piercing gaze, and stoic face effortless. Now, he was the one being looked down on, by a human no less. Doubled over himself, as if bowing to her. With his functioning hand, he wrapped the patterned clothing around his nether regions. Using his mouth to make a knot, he finished. Satisfied that he was covered, he raised his head to look at the girl, who now introduced herself as Keira. No longer bent over, he stood at six foot three, now towering over her. Forcing himself to regain his composure, he took a deep breath. Avi finally took a better look at his, rescuer? Whatever she may be to him.

Keira was graced with attractive features. From Avi's usual calculative perspective, he noted what he could see in the dim light. Realizing he had yet to answer, he quickly rushed one out."Ezra." He lied."I'm grateful for the assistance. And yes, it appears I have inflicted some damage onto my hand." Why did he lie? There was no need, no one on earth besides his fallen comrades, knew of his existence. Still, it felt....Wrong, to use his real name. Avi was the name of one of God's warrior Angels. He was that no longer. Only a weak human with irritating emotions. Avi gently straightened his elbow, to show her his bleeding hand, which was for sure swelling up. "Is there somewhere you could take me to get this fixed?" He questioned. His voice smooth, and husky all the way through."Where am I?" This time not going any further to allow her to speak.

Humans are so weak. Only one punch and his hand was out for the count. He just hoped it could actually be fixed. If he had to live with a lame hand for the rest of his human existence, he would be more than annoyed at himself. Avi wished he knew which angel had caused the fall. Maybe then, he could do something about his situation. What he didn't know, but he would be thinking about it. The cold air helped cool him down. He waited for the human to do something useful. It occurred to him that he could be strange. Avi could only hope he wasn't acting strange. Then again, she seemed to already think of him as a freak so he was sure he couldn't make a worse impression.

      ( KEIRA )
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
      keira evelyn smith(location) park(mood) interested(tagged) avi

she felt her phone buzz and she instantly picked it up. she looked at the screen and rolled her eyes. men. they were pigs some of them. she huffed and shoved her phone in her back pocket. keira shoved her camera in her bag and pulled on her bun, letting her curls loose. she crossed her arms over her chest and blew her curls out of her face. to no avail, it fell back in her face.

keira smiled at his name. ezra. she had to admit, he was attractive and with a name like ezra, she no longer mind that was completely nude a couple minutes before all that much. keira smiled at him, gentle blue eyes sparkling. he was so strange. not only just because he was publically naked but it was also the way he talked. his venacular was so, foreign to her. no one she knew talked with such grace and precision.

when he said he injured his hand, she instantly grabbed it and began examining it. before she went to an art school, she was in school for nursing, her parents pushing her to actually "make" money and not follow a "dud of a career". so you could say keira knew a thing or two, being her clumsy self, she had to. "its very swollen. can you move it?" she asked and looked at him. keir was sure it wasnt broken, maybe just a bad sprain. she hoped it was a sprain because she could tell the hospital visit wouldnt be a fun one if they went. what would she said "oh doctor i found him a park naked and afraid?" then they would both look crazy.

it was then she realized that he still wasnt appropriately dressed for todays society. keira huffed and ran her fingers through her hair "i can patch you up and get you clothes at my loft." she offered and shoved her hands on her back pockets. keira wasnt one to care what people thought but more people started to show up and stare at them, she just didnt want avi to be uncomfortable. "i like to call this place No Name." she said and wiggled her fingers for a "mystery" effect. in all honesty, she didnt really know what the name of the town was, she had only been living there a few weeks. the girl was a gypsy. "now lets go patch you up." the girl began walking in the direction she came. her loft was only a few blocks away. "so how did you get here? why are you naked? are you on drugs or are you drunk?"

she was honestly so intrigued by him. she wanted to know everything about him. where he was from? his favorite colour. dreams, goals, aspirations. he was obviously new so she had to show him around town but she would only do it when he got the results from his hand examination. the guy was obviously uptight and needed a fun night, she wanted to be the one to show him that. for some reason, she kind of felt drawn to him in a way.

              ┌─────────────────┐

              ASTERAOTHxxxx
              THE TRAGICALLY FALLEN xxxx
              xxxx

              └─────────────────┘

xxxxxxafter all he'd only just endured, the first thing asteraoth noticed on earth, was the sky. it was extravagant. a motley combination of brilliant blues and stark off whites. the view from the mortal realm was a whole new world, nothing like the adjacency heaven provided. he could no longer count gaseous celestials from the inside looking out, instead he could inhale them from the outside looking in. it was surreal. if he squinted, stars became the fuzzy silhouettes of all the wishes they regret being unable to fulfill. it was beautifully tragic. just as his fall to earth had been.

xxxxxxdespite losing all he'd known, despite the very confusing and new sensation of throbbing in his lower abdominal region, despite the achingly strange absence of his wings, asteraoth felt a former cavity in the upper left side of his chest burst. he didn't know what this was, the feeling he had, but he could argue it was something akin to what the humans referred to commonly as love.

xxxxxxit seemed he had a yearning to remain star gazing, a primal sort of dedication to the sky which could not be explained by words, but by origins. still, the angel reluctantly turned from the sky, taking in his new surroundings. earth was nothing like he'd vaguely seen from above. it was more alive than he could have ever imagined. very minuscule, but pesky creatures, buzzed around his head and crawled through the branches and dirt beneath him. there were mammals he'd heard stories of and yet never seen that lurked in the brush bordering the private, little tree-like plant it seemed he'd crushed. great, ugly birds with round eyes and sharp talons sang songs from the treetops.

xxxxxxeach new discovery filled him to the brim with wonder. it was overwhelming, being so completely full. heaven never allowed such emotions. even the large, bloody gash he'd come to find across his lower stomach amazed him. only a lapse ago in time, asteraoth had been untouchable. a testament to heaven's obstinance. and now? now he was finite. it was a very strange concept, something he'd never imagined happening to him. asteraoth had been nothing but a loyal, doting angel. he didn't deserve to be cast from his home, but he didn't resent it. the only thing he did find in him to regret was the absence of asariel. his precious asa.

xxxxxxwhile it was common knowledge that angels felt nothing, it was also uncommon knowledge that they still formed bonds between each other. asteraoth and asariel held this phenomenal connection, a holy ache which thrummed beneath their bones and reminded them that they'd come to exist marginally better only with the aid of each other. without asa, asteraoth was lost. he couldn't possibly picture an angel as pure and devoted as her being cast aside from the heavens though, so it seemed the angel would have to find a way to manage without his faithful counterpart.

xxxxxxworried about the banishment he'd come to find himself in and missing asa, asteraoth had been much too distracted to notice the branches of his fine little shrub part ways. it wasn't until he had swayed to the side in order to attempt thwarting the new found pain in his abdomen, that he notice a pair of beautiful eyes looming over him. they were a myriad of colors, both whiskey brown and emerald green at the same time, framed by long, sinful lashes. asteraoth wasn't sure he was breathing anymore.

xxxxxx"i am unequivocally humbled to meet the acquaintance of such an ethereal being." his lips parted slightly, his mouth forming a dainty 'O' shape as he greedily took in the sight before him. he had seen the sky and fallen in love, yet he had also seen this mortal man and done the same to a different extent. one could not love two things equally, nor in the same matter. aster understood this now. seeing a human up close shook the foundations of all he stood for, battered the theories regarding humanity that clung to his skull like flags beaten beneath the wrath of a monsoon. the angel didn't think there was more feeling for him to experience.

xxxxxxat the human's inquiry, asteraoth melted, relishing the sound of his voice. he took hold of the hand offered to him, curious, and allowed himself to be pulled from the park shrubbery. he quickly examined his body, mentally checking for anything which may appear distasteful to the other man, but aster could find nothing other than the one gash and other superficial scratches now marring his skin. in fact, asteraoth still felt presentable as ever. "thank you so very much for kindly extending a hand and helping to extract me from that life form!" he said joyously, in a manner that could vaguely resemble chirping.

xxxxxx"it would appear, externally that i am mostly fine. my side seems to be gushing but perhaps that will mend itself? i am not quite certain in matters regarding that, but! i am certain that i have come from the sky, fallen, so to speak." asteraoth answered as earnestly as he could, still entranced by the human's beauty and completely unaware of the impression his words may leave.

── DOMINIQUE WOLFHART ──
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
( male ) ( nineteen ) ( human ) ( location: park ) ( tags: aster )
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

As words came from the angel's mouth, Dominique had to pause and stare at the man. His way of speaking was very odd. He wondered if the guy had passed out drunk in the bushes, and he was still heavily under the influence of alcohol. When he was able to pull the man out of the bushes, he was able to see the state that the man was in. His mouth dropped, looking at the gash on the man's side. However, the angel did not seem to be bothered by it. In fact, he seemed happy to meet someone new. He was definitely drunk and was probably unaware of the pain in his side. "Oh my God. I need to get you to a hospital. Something like that will not heal on its own. Wait, what-" He spoke, scrunching his eyebrows when the angel mentioned coming from the sky. Briefly, he lifted his gaze to the sky before looking at the bush. It did appear to be crushed, but he definitely did not fall from the sky. The fall into the bush probably seemed high from the perspective of a drunk.

Shaking his head, he hurried went through his bag to pull out basketball shorts and a t-shirt. "Alright, buddy.." He spoke, trying to act fast while trying not to seem exasperated. He was dealing with an injured drunk man. An attractive injured drunk man. How did he end up in this situation? Right, trying to be healthy and work out. "Uh, here. Put on these shorts. I'll walk you to the clinic; it's not far from here." He insisted, holding out the basketball shorts to the man. When he took it, he bit his lower lip and moved to Aster's side. He waited until the angel had slid on the pair of shorts before taking further action. Using the t-shirt that he removed from his bag, he gently pressed it against the gash in Aster's side and wrapped his arm gently around the man's waist to help guide him. "Put your arm around my neck, and you can lean into me if you need to." He instructed, waiting for the other to follow his orders. He hoped that the man was not drunk enough to the point where he would be difficult to deal with. "What's your name? Do you have any family I can call to come get you?" He asked, slowly starting to walk in the direction of the clinic. Another hopeful thought would be that the man would remember any important contacts in his phone. He wondered where his clothes had gone too. Maybe he was robbed? It would explain the gash on his side. For a moment, he looked around fearfully and hoped that they would not be jumped. He did not need to add onto the list of problems that he had at this moment. He had a lean frame and taunt muscles, but he would not stand a chance against a bunch of robbers with knives. Besides, he was not much of a fighter anyway. His older sister was the one who won his fights. But, unfortunately, she was not with him right now. It was him and a wounded man.

He tried not to panic so much, especially in front of the injured man. He looked over at the angel, worry clear in his hazel eyes. He had so many questions to ask him, but he did not want to bombard the injured man with so many at once. He would wait until his other questions were answered before he decided to ask anymore. Briefly, he glanced down at the ground and realized that the man did not have any shoes on either. He did not have any spare shoes in his bag. "Here, you can take my shoes too." He added, pausing in their walk to kick off his shoes and push them in front of Aster's feet. He did not want the injured man to gain anymore injuries to his body. Dom still had socks on, so walking on the gravel and rocks would not be too painful. He simply wanted the other man not to be in anymore pain than he already was. Whenever they would arrive to the clinic, he realized that they would both look like a mess. The other man more so than himself, but they would be a mess nevertheless. He decided not to worry about the small unimportant things. He needed to get this man treated for his wounds.

It took the dark haired male to understand what had happened but with the throbbing pain in his limbs and the crisp smell of the nature around him. It wasn't hard to realize he was no longer in heaven. The grass around him, the soil, the sounds. Everything was so imperfect again and it startled him. He felt... Pain. Yes... The throbbing pain in his limbs. And emotions to, those were strange, such as confusion. He was confused why he was here but he was sure it was of good purpose. Everything was so foreign and strange. The fallen angels head spun at everything hitting him so fast.

Slowly but surely the angel slowly stood. Brushing the dirt and grime off his flawless skin and then inspecting the area around him. His bright eyes noticed one direction was quiet calm forest while the other was that of towering buildings and noises he was confused by.

Like a newborn fawn, Finchy slowly but surely made his way into the city. Not bothering to try to hide his starkness being he didn't think anything was in the wrong. Even though he wasn't scared to bare his own flesh the feelings of insecurity and out of place plagued his thoughts like a dangerous dieses. His already timid demenor didn't like the idea of walking confused through out the streets.

Finchy didn't know anyone or what to do, so many new things all at once. It was... Easily described as overwhelming and slightly fearful. Starting to panick a bit the male quickly made his way to the quieter spots which in his case was a alley way with a few stray cats in his company. Gently scooping one up, Finchy gently stroked its head as he watched it with curious eyes. Such a small creature yet it survived the wild on its own. He'd have to be like the cat. He'd have to adapt and learn and survive.

        ________________________________________

The fallen angel withheld a yelp of agony as Keir held onto his injured appendage. The second she had finished her inspection, his hand recoiled. Unfortunately, a little too fast. Thanks to his actions, another dose of suffering exploded from his limb. Adrenaline aided him no longer, making the pain seem to get worse and worse. At her words, Avi looked to her from his hand. Having no clue what swollen meant, he could only hope it didn't mean he was to lose his hand. In response to her question, he simply stated no and prayed she didn't ask to demonstrate.

Patiently, Avi awaited her next move. 'Patch him up?' Brows furrowing in confusion, he made no comment on it. Still, the rest sounded appealing. For now, he would assume the former phrase did as well. The cold had already begun to bother him again. How humans dealt with it for months on end, he would never understand. The fallen angel hated the shiver of his body whenever another cool breeze passed him by. The feeling of his hair standing on end and little bumps making an appearance on his skin. It had happened multiple times so far that night, yet he still hasn't grown accustomed to the feeling."That would be grand. I've yet to acclimate to earth's diverse climates."

Humans are strange. Why name a location, 'no name?' Did that not defeat the very purpose of a name? Baffled, Avi began speculating the logic behind it and found none. Avi was going to question her further but she beat him to the punch and said it was time to go. Instead, the thoughts were pushed away, and he decided he would ask her about it later. Obediently, he followed close behind. Since he had awoken, Avi's alertness had increased and he was now much more grounded. In more ways than one. Including his gait—although at a walking pace—began to show a sliver of his original confident stride. Head held high, posture straight, and his steps deliberate.

Keir's probing caught him off guard, and he didn't respond for a few moments. Quite frankly, the silver eyed man had no knowledge of drugs or being drunk. Even so he knew neither of those had anything to do with why he was there. Debating on whether or not to lie, he looked up at the sky. Already earth had turned him dishonest. Humans knew nothing of their existence, well, almost nothing. Ergo, if he were to tell her he came from heaven after being kicked out by God because of an angel's betrayal, he was sure she would think him incogitable.

"I have no recollection of how I came to be here. Or as to the reason I am without outer wear. Which is not as offending from my origin as wherever this area is, just so you're aware. Neither am I drugs or on drunk as you opined. I am able to tell you that I have been abjured by my Father, however." He parried. Careful not to reveal anything more than he had to, but expectantly enough. The majority, if not all, of his answer was true in certain context. "Precisely how far is this loft of yours?" Avi hoped they would reach their destination sooner rather than later. The ground underfoot wasn't as pleasant as it looked. Changing focus for a few seconds, his piercing eyes looked down on his hand. With the shortage of light and blood already on the wound, he was unable to tell if the Crimson liquid continued to spill from inside him. No matter, Keira had offered her services and he was sure she would be able to help. For now, he just kept his pace up, keeping his struggle silent. Complaining never helped any situation and he'd be damned if he let earth turn him into someone who spent more than half his breath whining.

      S K A I
      ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
      ( skai degrey ) ( some quiet street ) ( tagged, open )

xxxxxxxxxIt's said that every morning you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them.

xxxxxxxxxSleeping in had always felt as a waste of a day to Skai. In life, you're supposed to go out and achieve your dreams, gain new experiences, go and see that special sight that you've always wanted to lay your eyes upon. And like at night, when everything in the universe seems oddly perpetual and different, a feel that you can only experience once the sun goes down and the dark begins to capture all of the existing light, it's fairly similar in the morning. Resemblances can be found everywhere- Mid-day, loud and rambunctious streets are replaced with a quiet, and eerie silence, the only sound being the faint echo of the pitter-patter your feet make on the ground beneath you. Normally vibrant and eye-popping colors are turned into a muted and lowly saturated shade, almost as if they are at rest as well, with most of the still world at rest. The only distinction can be found within the time periods; when the sun is just waking up, and then when the moon decides that it is her turn to take her shift.

xxxxxxxxxSlowly, eyelids hesitantly peeled themselves open, revealing luminous and deep honey-colored eyes, the vibrant orbs capturing the light in which had peaked through her curtains, sun reaching out to touch the outside world with the welcoming of morning. It was well past the break of dawn, which did not make it peculiar for the girl to be surprised, for this morning was the first she had slept in, in ages. A light yawn escaping her lips, the blonde slipped from away her covers, each pale strand of her hair falling into a place that seemed opposite from where it was supposed to go. A pounding sensation lurked behind her skull, the wonderful presence of a headache working it's schemes against her, and for a moment she pondered over whether or not she was coming down with an illness, which would describe her lack of motivation to pick herself up from her bed. But soon came to her senses that perhaps her body was just using such ways to notify her of the lack of caffeine flowing through her veins.

xxxxxxxxxNearly a half hour after realizing her sudden need for the sustenance - Being one who gets ready promptly, refusing to grant procrastination authority, Skai had long ago abandoned her apartment, and was now well on her ways to what one could piece together; the local coffee shop. One whom had known Skai for long enough, would well know that she was not one to let something stop her, and block her path to what she wanted to achieve. If she wanted to do something, she would. Even if it was just something silly; Like for instance, her extreme need, her growing morning and daily, desire for coffee.

But she could not ignore how it seemed a the tad-dist bit of strange out today. All most as if something in the universe had shifted, knocking something out of balance. She had seen movies before which had described similar things taking place, like apocalyptic movies, or even.. aliens. But this still felt like something she had never experienced or watched before, lacking knowledge of the newfound sensation she picked up through the air. A strange chatter hid among the people who were walking on the opposite sides of the street than her, and the strange vibe drifting through the air could not be ignored.

xxxxxxxxxVeering off onto a vacant side street, though relieved that she was finally a step or two closer to her destination, Skai's eyes were wide and flooded with doubtful emotions.

xxxxxxxxxToday was something other than usual.
