Story: She used to live a comfy life as a house cat until her owners couldn't take care of her anymore. They gave her to a family that was neglectful, and unfortunately she died. She felt like she still needed to find her family, so she came back as a spirit. She wanders all over the world in search of them, and every place she visits she gets a new marking. Humans started spreading rumors about a ghost cat, and she was viewed as a boogeyman.
